Ourusualbeach Posted October 19, 2018 #1 Share Posted October 19, 2018 Apologies if this has been posted but one of the slides at a recent travel seminar Royal listed their new builds through 2027. Included on that list were Oasis 6 and 7 as well as Icon 3 and 4. No smaller ships on the list at the current time.

champagne123 Posted October 20, 2018 #13 Share Posted October 20, 2018 I love the Oasis Class, but....due to their size, there are very few ports to visit. Seems like "same old, same old".

CanadaRob Posted October 21, 2018 #16 Share Posted October 21, 2018 Will they move to different ports/itineraries or sell off some of the older ones? there would be a glut of ships in the Caribbean with so many cruise lines adding more ships. Don't think any cruise line would be happy with competition and extra discounts to keep capacity high.

You could have also said that 10, 20 or 30 years ago and yet, things seem to be fine for the lines. Edited October 21, 2018 by Biker19

Hmmm the MSC excess of ships could add another dimension that was not there a decade ago. We can always hope for more rooms than cruiser or more ports that are not currently in a regular itineraries
