Couldn’t have been worse then a few P’s I witnessed on Presidents Cruise. Throwing wine on cruisers. Taking tables in CK without reservation because they were entitled to the CK.

And this was the only only ones I personally witnessed.

I've never said some Pinnacle folks are not impolite, self entitled bores. Never.

Just off the Brilliance.  15 Pinns.  We were sitting at the bar in the CL and some of the Pinns were talking about how the CL's are now becoming Suite Lounges and one of them said "Well we know how to take care of those suite guests"  Don't have a clue what he meant but it made me think of these threads here on CC😇"

One continuous 24 HR Internet $12.99, Free Photo $19.99, Balcony discount around $200, not sure where you are getting free laundry, a discount yes. Times two for DW and me for both being Diamond, for some reason does not add up to well over $600.

I am not trashing C&A, but it is not as great as some people think it is, just my opinion. Oh, by the way the 3 drinks a night, low grade liquor. People asked why I brought out my sea pass during the “free drink” time.....I like a better liquor.

Opinions differ on liquor. There is more expensive liquor, I don't think all of it is better. Absolute is very bitter to me and not worth the extra money.

The drink packages are a waste of money for us.

You are showing Diamond Plus, but still don”t see free laundry. Also, I would say the average person does not use half or more the things listed. Yes we used the 20% discount on SPA twice

Let’s just say each person gets what they want and what they feel is value.

Cheers

There is wash and fold laundry on there although we never use that as we always bring plenty of clothes with us.

The free photo each is good plus the discount in the shops for RC merchandise.

We don't use the spa or the casino but do use the DL/CL and and the 3 free drinks in other bars

So what is the difference between a printed photo and a digital one?  I thought they were all digital.

Rory I remember you posting this during your cruise and you have my sympathies having to experience this.

We’ve encountered it once, in the MDR for breakfast... we were seated with several people, including one guy who was a diamond.  He spent the entire time bragging about all of his cruises, and never left room for anyone else to say anything.  He was so, so boring.

We experienced someone bragging like that to us in the DL about his business that's why we were so pleased as D+ we could go to the CL the next night.

Oh I know exactly what they meant.  The ones on my September cruise all had prior relationships - almost every single one of them - confirmed.  They sure take advantage - like a crab that happens upon a dead fish.

On some ships all the photos are printed  and displayed on boards which is a waste.

The digital photos you enter your room number on a screen and all your photos are shown.

You pick which ones you want and call back later to pick your photos up when they are printed.

I'm a scorpio.  I hold grudges for life.  Therefore, I want to continue to sway travel plans and point out the fact that the Suite Lounge and Coastal Kitchen are not exclusive to suites like Royal would have you believe in their false marketing materials.  I want people to know that pinnacles not paying for a suite swarm the SL and CK on certain cruises and ruin it for people who paid for a cruise not knowing these NSPPs would be there hogging all the seats.

We all have a choice of cruise lines and cruise lines compete with each other for business.  If completely exclusive restaurants and lounges are what matters to you, then Royal Caribbean may not be the right cruise line for you.  You can usually cruise in the MSC Yacht Club for about the same price (or sometimes less) as cruising in a Grand Suite on Royal Caribbean and all Yacht Club venues are 100% exclusive to people who have purchased Yacht Club cabins.  Nobody gets admitted to Yacht Club venues based on loyalty.   It is similar in The Haven on Norwegian and in Grille Class on Cunard.  You can always find the features that really matter to you (at a price) by shopping for those features.

DH and I have joked that for some of the Pinnacles, this is the most "important" they've ever felt in their life.  Whether they were the unpopular nerd in HS or whatever, this "status" gives some of them the attention they've never had.  But, that said, there are plenty of lower tier cruisers who are just as big of jerks.  Some who can't stand the fact that higher tiers get freebies and are jealous and others who just like to slam anyone they can.  You see it on here too.  The "I'm better than those in higher tiers" crowd.  No one is better than anyone else.  But, a loyalty program provides levels of freebies.  its just a fact.

So if I am reading that D+ benefits sheet right, the only free photos you can get are the pre-printed ones?

I was just on Adventure last week and don't remember seeing any photos already printed. They were all stored on the computer.

Some ships still print and display everyone's photos.

On Harmony we picked our photos from the monitor and came back later after the time we were given the photos would be printed.

Then there are the ones that have to get up and work the room. Oh brother, save me from the pompous blow hards that are rarely as important as they think they are.

Or the ones in the elevator "I wish Royal had an elevator dedicated to Suite guests like NCL does." (Which they didn't have on my last 3 NCL ships).

Or the ones in the Guest Services line "We are Mr and Mrs Smith, and we are Diamond +. Are we on ship's time or local time in port tommorow?

In line for the ice show  "Are you a suite guest? We are in a suite and are supposed to have reserved seating and were just wondering where it is at."

The list goes on and on.

I am really beside myself about all the changes. We are diamond plus and don’t get the perks the suite guests are getting. I believe they are entitled to everything they get. My frustration is we had the Royal Suite on Explorer of the Seas when it left Bayonne for 2 weeks. We thought the service in that suite would have been great. Unfortunately we were told by the concierge that he couldn’t take care of us because too many Pinnacles. So now they are catering to suites. Something is wrong with this picture. Guess we booked a suite before they were given perks and the ones loyal to Royal got all the benefits. Seems a little unfair

Explorer didn't and still doesn't have Royal Suite Class.  You would need to sail an Oasis class ship or Anthem to get the additional benefits of Royal Suite Class. When we sailed in a GS on Oasis, the concierges definitely catered to the Pinnacles more than the Sky Class passengers.  Star Class had their Genies to take care of their needs but our sailing had some high maintenance Pinnacles that were always with the concierges.

D+ and Pinnacle get a free wash and fold bag of laundry.

One per person not per stateroom.

Please reread their post. Explorer indeed has a Royal Suite Cabin. Cabin 1620

You don't seem to realize some Pinnacles sail on a ship for months at a time. They develop friendships with the staff they are not high maintenance if they are chatting with a friend. Most Pinnacles (all) have been there done that. They don't need a lot of help.

I didn't say it doesn't have a royal suite cabin.  The discussion has been about the SL and benefits from royal suite class.  Explorer does not have royal suite class, so they wouldn't get the benefits that are being discussed.
