Some bits and pieces hidden away inside the halls at Meyer Turku. Maybe once it is painted we will see it outside tucked away in the rear of the ship yard. 🙂

The biggest cruise ship in the world is all about the GT. All of the Oasis class ships are the same size, they just tweak the GT with each one to make each new one THE BIGGEST CRUISE SHIP IN THE WORLD!

Well, they are also longer supposedly.

They also change GT during drydocks it seems.😉

Seeing how the cabin capacity is supposed to be less than O class, I'm not sure RCI will be so generous as to offer even more GT.

Over on NCL they had the same thread type for their new ships back in 2018 and 2019.

There are two in progress now for Prima and Viva.  Prima just did a sea trials run...

Looking at this closer, interesting placement of a window tucked back there. Maybe the steel area in front of that window will have something similar to those openings we see on Wonder. Or may be there is more opening we cant see from this angle.

So apparently Michael Bayley  announced that info about the Icon of the Seas will be revealed in September.

It’s unbelievable that they want to wait that long before revealing the info. With the way the build has been going it will reveal itself and thanks to photo updates from you, Panda Monium, Tough As Leather and Eremita85/Jean here and on FB.

I hear that Michael Bayley accidentally(?) gave away the name of the sphere. 😎

@Lloyd555 Did he give the actual one? 😁

I hope so. Otherwise this cartoon means nothing! 😁

Right on par with the '24-'25 deployment schedule.

Unlikely we'll have any of that info before Nov

You modified what I wrote in your quote block. Not much of a quote. I did mean the '23-'24 deployment schedule, not the '24-'25 deployment schedule.

7-Night Caribbean listed as opening for bookings the week of September 12th this year.

I hope this piece ends up at the back corner of the yard before it's installed so we can get a good look at it. I've noticed a lot of pieces show up there before and after a paint job.

@lloyd555 and @eremita85 are there any new pieces back there?

Ya, I  like the back area for the regular appearance of ship pieces too.

I'm sure there are new bits back there, but I haven't seen a direct shot of that area since the middle of the month.

He just confirmed what we have known for over a month.

7 day Caribbean deployment being released in Sept as on the deployment schedule could only mean one ship.

I would say most likely based on the curve sides on each of the photos.

Would the three 'tents' be covering the holes where the top of the Azipod units come through the hull to attach to the power unit inside the ship?
