ROYAL CARIBBEAN DUDE Posted September 28, 2019 Author #227 Share Posted September 28, 2019 Did you guys see my Labadee video? Which do you prefer, Labadee or Coco Cay? Did you hear the itinerary on Mariner has changed? The 4 day cruise is going to Coco Cay twice now - instead of having a sea day!

You can give tips to specific crew members through guest services. Many guests have been told cash tips given directly to crew cannot be kept. That they still have to put it back in the pool? Is this true?

That they still have to put it back in the pool? Is this true? They don't have to physically put money in the pool. Royal assumes they were tipped the standard amount and reflects that in their next paycheck.

Rare rafinmd Posted September 30, 2019 #243 Share Posted September 30, 2019 I think it's pretty well in line with what I expected. A couple of years ago I got a behind the scenes tour of the Amsterdam from their Security Officer (a Cruise Critic friend of mine) when our ships were in port together. His Officer's cabin was about the same size as yours but he didn't need to share his. I'm curious, you have the lower bunk which I assume means you were in the cabin first, but he has the 2 big shelves while you only have 2 small ones. Is that by mutual agreement? Roy Yes, I was there first. Everyone wants the bottom bunk. Sometimes, we will have an agreement where we will swap beds half way through the contract.
