As a very leftfield suggestion how about singer/songwriter, producer and visual artist -  Magne Furuholmen.

 

For those that don't know him, he was the keyboard player in the Norwegian group A-ha

Both short video clips are on P&O's facebook page - and you don't have to have an account to view it.

In a magazine article I read Mark Ronson is going to be resident on the new Virgin Cruise Ship, don't think P& O would get him

It was mentioned somewhere else that Gary Barlow was seen being given a tour of the Iona ship hall by P&O execs before Christmas.

I've been following this but not expecting to be massively impressed. However I am. Gary Barlow is well know and very easy to listen to.

Does this mean he will actually perform on the ship or is he digital like Gareth Gates?

I think the musical director title suggests he will have input but doubt he will be on many cruises after the naming one... 

He could probably still sell out Wembley, so not sure a theatre on a ship could be cost effective for him. 

I think his interests have switched to the West End, so hopefully he will shake up the whole theatre/show set up for P&O.
