All kidding aside, it may have been a systems update related to this.

Yes very likely, I wanted to have some fun with this before submitting a report to RCCL.  I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I have the same thing and that is what mine is.

Well that makes sense, I probably booked this a couple of years ago.  I completely forgot before booking my next cruise but I'll remember for the next "next" time.  And as you know, there's ALWAYS a next time 😁

Thanks, all!

I'm sure this is a data glitch but I appreciate that RCCL thinks I'm going to be hale and hearty and cruising in 19 years 🙂

I've heard about booking as soon as possible to get the best price but that is just ridiculous. 😁

If only you could book at 2039 prices. I’m sure we’ll look back and thinking cruising was cheap. 😂😃

Whatever the 2039 prices, I'll bet they are on sale!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Never heard of the 2038 problem before. It is amazing what I learn from being part of cc society.

I guess we will all be on that cruise in 2038 🙂

So I called Royal about mine. Apparently I booked an open ended cruise in 2013 and forgot about it. Have booked several cruises since then and was never once asked if I wanted to use this this credit. So glad it showed up on my account, otherwise it would have been a forgotten donation to RCI.

Mine from March 2013 has Friends & Family certificates with it. It might be nice if you could find the paperwork or the email if you wanted to share the OBC with others. :classic_biggrin:

Though a 7nite Cruise on Royal 3 Decades ago was $3750 for 2 passengers in a Deck 2 tiny porthole window on Sovereign of the Seas. Maybe by 2039 prices will be back up to 1988 rates.
