Well this was my day...

Went to the drive through covid test centre to get checked out, not a pleasant experience...

Fingers crossed for the result.

I'm OK, just been getting hot, fever like flushes.

Could just be the 'Manopause'...

Normally would have been a Lemsip and soldier on, but you have to consider others more these days.

Hope you lot are OK?

Of course Avril, you will be the first to know.

I'm clean... Phew..

Negative result by text at 2.30am, was only tested at 9.30 yesterday morning.

Now I have told Avril, I better wake Michelle and tell her... 😊

Thank you for all your concern, it must just be the 'manopause'...

That's good news Andy

Just for future reference remember... The quickest way to get a Covid-19 test ?
Cough on a rich person and wait for their test results.:classic_wink:

So pleased and relieved for you both. That was a fast result. I knew no self respecting germ would want to invade you😉 Now it's time to embrace you feminine side😁

A friend of mine’s son had to get a test a couple of weeks ago - she was very impressed how organised it was and he got his result the next day too. Seems they are pretty organised now.

Good news Andy, however have we had any positive tests among our forum members?

Good question, John.  I’m guessing we’re a pretty careful lot, and that positive tests will be rare. Probably tests themselves will be rare.

Son’s fiancée did test positive, and was quite unwell for a while, but that was some months ago and probably not a huge surprise given that she’s a doctor, working in a hospital.

My granddaughter tested positive a while ago, and she was a nurse working on a covid ward. Neither her husband nor her two children became ill. She only had a temperature and a headache, took paracetamol and was feeling better after a couple of days. She was lucky, but also young ,fit and healthy.
