Anyone Rebooked

We were to be on the 4/4 Sky Princess cruise, took the 175% toward new cruise(still haven't received credit), so with the extra we have booked the Sky on Nov 30th for a 10 day cruise. Has anyone else rebooked yet?

After 30+ cruises, we’ll be back at-sea again!! But, not in 2020.  No rush to climb aboard a ship, with others from all over the world, until the virus is well behind us.  For the rest of this year, when it’s safe to travel again, we’ve decided to explore some places we haven’t visited yet here in the USA. And, it’s likely be better for the economy!

Won't be doing anything until refund and cancellation is processed.  Already have 2 cruises for next year with other cruise lines, but won't be re-booking with Princess until everything is taken care of on their end.  Funny we keep getting emails and phone calls from a Princess Vacation Planner about re-booking and I keep telling her won't be doing anything until Princess takes care of this cancellation.  It's beginning to be a little aggravating for them to keep contacting me at this point when nothing has been processed yet with my 10K that they have right now.

Not funny at all.

They are simply trying to avoid having to come up with the cash, lessening the chance of going under.

Whereas I can appreciate their dilemma, maybe they could redirect these employees to help with the refunding process.  Seems like it's a waste of their time, especially when they keep calling me. 🤣

Oh yes. And I got a new letter from Jan Swartz last week saying let ‘s keep in touch.  This was after I got no where in a  call I made to Princess to decline my Jan /i2020 upgrade. Rep could not help me. Got disconnected. I am waiting this one out.

You missed the whole point.

They are trying to get you to rebook, instead of having to come up with funds they may not have.

I rebooked 2 cruises.

Covered one with balance of gift cards + FCC from cancelled March 22nd Grand cruise and used balance of that FCC to buy Refundable OBC. So that one's paid

Will use FCC from March 29th Grand cruise to cover Enchanted Princess April cruise + Refundable OBC. Waiting on backdating FCC for that one

Not sure about December out of SF. That's why I booked those other 2. But I won't book it until the port fees / taxes / insurance refund shows up on my visa card

No, YOU missed my point I was being sarcastic. Waste of time trying to get me to re-book when I don't have my 10K back in order to do so. I have a lil more intelligence than that. 😁

Put a refundable deposit on an Alaska cruise in July 2021.  Waiting for Princess to cancel our June 2020 Alaskan cruise so we’ll be able to apply those funds to next year.

We also have a Panama Canal cruise in January 2021 and a family Alaska cruise in June 2021.  So, yes, we’ll cruise again!

I will contemplate re booking when I get my refund and there is assurance that I can safely cruise without serious risk of infection. In other words not happening in 2020. I will be looking at 2021 before I see any significant improvement to the industry for safeguards to passengers.

Rebooked for May, 2021--just one year after our 2 cancelled cruises were to take place...with a Refundable deposit, just in case.  Hoping we all receive our FCC's sooner, rather than later, but not holding our breath.

Thought of booking for late this year, but like others, leary of getting on any cruise ship in 2020.

We did! Even took a gamble on later this year. 🤞🏻

So you did the same thing we did. There is always going to be a risk, there was a risk before this and there will be a risk after this, hoping that China has good results without a recurrence and it will be safe to go at the end of the year. Good luck to all of us!!!!

Rebooked from this May's British Isle cruise which was cancelled to late September this year

for same cruise.  Fingers, toes, and eyes all crossed that cruising will be up and going way before then!

I actually moved my Med cruise from Oct 2021 to late Oct/Nov 2020.  The price was $1700 cheaper to go this year;  so we swapped trips.  I have faith in all the doctors especially the research scientists to figure out a game plan by summer; so we can get the ships moving by this fall.  Good luck to everyone.  I also booked New England/Canada for Oct 2021.   I did have a AMA river cruise on the Rhine cancel last week.  That was scheduled for 6 May.

Your forecast looks very promising. Lol its like the best post in here Ive read in awhile. Especially getting like twice as cheap sounds fantastic. I only hope that it wont be paused and then postoponed every month. How much was it in total for one person? Did they offer you a gift card or some kind of credit? I wish I could rebook for this year also.. but I am kinda afraid both for my health.. and pocket

Our 4/4 cruise this year was canceled and we chose option 1 for the refund.  We have booked the same cruise for 4/9/2021.  We have a cruise coming up in August that hopefully will be able to sail and another one in November.  We already had two schedule for next year on Princess and two scheduled on another cruise line.  Hopefully we can get back to cruising.

I am being very optimistic and I just booked the 7-day Pacific Wine Country cruise on the Star on Oct. 15th out of LA.  I cruised on the Sky this past Feb/March solo for the 1st time (husband passed away) and took an inside.  Beautiful room, lots of storage but not for me.  When I saw the price for this cruise for a balcony for a single cruiser it was a great price plus I added on the offer of the drink package, WiFi and gratuities and it was still a great price.  Got a wonderful casino offer and I am one happy camper right now.  I always like to have something in my near future to look forward to.
