The Tampa port is 20 miles away 🙂 funny you ask about the beach…we went and saw the private beach we pay for in our HOA its one mile from our house and has 20 cabanas My Grandfather lived there, never did meet him though. My Grandmother married again when I was very young so only knew her while growing up in NJ. You are close to Clearwater, Phillies Spring Training games are played there, you should have a chance to see some ball games while in that area if you and Nate are into sports. Just yesterday it started to clear a bit. This morning you can finally see the sun rising. Beautiful! I love Tahoe... With my screen name I'm sure you can imagine why. I'm up in your neck of the woods right now, Fremont/Hayward area. Edited July 28, 2021 by Tree_skier

Speaking of rentals, I had a phone call from my tenant at our shore house. Called in a panic because she couldn't find the can opener. I told her to look in various kitchen drawers as there was definitely was one there, I bought a new one in June. Called back was very rude cursing at me. I called my neighbor who took her one. But Wow! What a meltdown she had over a can opener. Neighbor said she was a total b***** Not renting to her again! Update on can opener lady. My neighbor phoned and said the tenant returned her can opener and said she found one in a kitchen drawer yesterday. Ugghhh! Guess I wont hold my breath waiting for an apology for her rant yesterday! 10

Rare h20skibum Posted July 29, 2021 #24164 Share Posted July 29, 2021 Today was corn day. Took our grandkids to a farm, and today’s program was all about corn. How to tell if it is ready to pick, how to pick it, along with many other things about corn. They must have paid attention, because they were talking about many of the things they learned. It is a really nice program this place does for the young kids, and they have groups going through every half hour. A ride to the corn field in the tractor pulled wagon We passed some bacon along the way Picking corn “the right way” Looks like a good one. And another and another Another wagon load of kids. We cooked the corn they picked, and they did an excellent job. Very delicious We had the other two tonight so our daughter and her husband could celebrate their anniversary. Fourteen years for them today.

Ocean Boy Posted July 29, 2021 #24175 Share Posted July 29, 2021 The Ten Commandments of Dog Ownership 1. My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any separation from you will be very hard and painful for me. Remember that before you adopt me. 2. Give me time to understand what you want from me. Please be patient with me. 3. Place your trust in me. It is crucial for my well being. 4. Do not be angry with me for long, and do not lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends and your entertainment. I only have you! 6. Talk to me, even if I do not understand your words, I understand your voice when it is speaking to me. You only have to look at my tail! 7. Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget it! 8. Before you hit me, remember that I have teeth that could crush the bones in your hand, but I choose not to bite you. (DON'T HIT YOUR DOG!) 9. Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I am in pain or sick, or my heart might be getting weak and I cannot tell you. 10 Take care of me when I get old, you too will grow old someday. Go with me on difficult journeys. Never say, “I can’t bear to watch it” or, “let it happen in my absence.” Everything is easier for me if you are there. ** And always remember, I Love You! 22
