That’s very good to hear. It must have been scary not being able to get her to a vet right away.

Absolutely!! The alternative diagnosis was that since she did her first ever "scarf and barf" on Saturday morning - she literally has never thrown up since we adopted each other 2/29/20 - she scared herself and gave herself a case of kitty emetophobia (fear of throwing up). She's eating more every day, and last night (or this morning) sealed that she is back. She got the zoomies at 3am and was meowing at me at 5am. 🙂

Whew feels so much better when you see them acting like themselves.

It needs to move to Ft. Lauderdale.

And do 8 day cruises, not the short 3 and 4 day ones.

I hope you like it.  My knowledge of wrestling starts and stops with Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper &"Th Rock" Johnson. But again, the wrestling part of the movie is more back ground action. I don't want to give away too much of the story but if there was ever a cursed family, it was the Von Erich's.

I wonder if they took steroids? Seems to be a big thing with some bodybuilders and wrestlers.

It is sailing out of Port Canaveral now.   Or, I hope it is, because we board her tomorrow morning.

Yes, moving on to part 3 or 4 of our winter vacation. Normally wouldn’t consider such a short cruise, but since we were here, thought we would remedy this.

D+ after this one.  Would have been there last year, but…..

Congrats on making it to D+.

Never had or wanted an LG Oled, still afraid of the burn in some of the sets can get.

Watch to much ESPN and news channels  that have those   bars on bottom of shows.

Burn in has not been an issue.

Thank you! She really is. About the only time she hisses and swats is if she walks right in front of me and I accidentally bump her paw. Or occasionally if she steps on my foot she'll hiss like I'm the offender. LOL. But other than that she's really chill. If she wants attention she'll come and sit and just put a gentle paw on my arm like "Hello, I'm here" - or climb in my lap or do gentle head butts.

It’s currently sailing from Port Canaveral.

@h20skibum  I hope you’ll continue posting from Allure.  Our February cruise will be our first time on her so curious to hear your thoughts.  Congrats on reaching D+.

Latest forecast for our area has 6-12” of snow from Saturday night through Sunday.  I’m a little sad we’re missing the first storm (sorry @Ocean Boy).  It would’ve been nice to hunker down and watch football all day.

Allure is a great ship. You will have an excellent time aboard. However, I've never done less than a 7 night cruise on Allure and I really liked the 8 nighters.

As far as the snow... Hopefully we will be spared on the coast. You are welcome to it up at your end of the state. I used to love it when it snowed. Now I just want to get down to the Caribbean to warm up. It was 23°F here this morning with the wind blowing feeling like the low teens.

Thanks, I think they’re fun.

Congrats, but tell DS2 to hold out for 2 more days. It’s a good day to be born. 😁

Edited - While you’re at it, tell DS1 to also hold out for 2 more days. St. Patrick’s Day would be a fun birthday.

I think my wife has a great fun birthday July 4th she gets fireworks every year .

Both series against the Devils & Canucks is what got me hooked on hockey.  My friends kept  cautioning me that I'm going to be disappointed going forward as not all games are that intense &  exciting.

I listened to Ranger games on radio in the 50’s but I never became a fan and never went to games.Conversely I began listening to Knicks games in the 50’s and have been to hundreds of games,HS,college and pro .

As of now, since the hotel is so new, they do not have a shuttle to the pier.  On a nice, sunny day like this, we could easily walk to terminal 1, but it might be more than some would want.

The hotel said they may be getting a shuttle at some point, but now they just recommend private companies.  I did see Ubers pulling in.

It is across the street if sailing Carnival here, but not for Royal.

We did that stay at the Holiday Inn in Southampton, and just walked to the ship with our luggage.  It was convenient.

Holiday inn is next to the gate at City terminal Southampton.

There are several cruise terminals at Southampton but all are within 5-10 minutes taxi ride of most Southampton city hotel's traffic permitting.

It is 34°F and cloudy this morning in North East England.

Sorry to hear David Soul from Cagney and Lacey died yesterday aged 80.

Take care, stay safe and enjoy every day friends.

Another mooring line perspective from yesterday.

Today, we are in Coco Cay.  We have Coco Beach Club reserved.

I forgot about the old tech on Allure.  Don’t know how many times I tapped my sea pass on the door, before I remembered it had to go in the slot to unlock the door.

I was a great fan.

Actually, the series were called "Starsky & Hutch" [I'm mentioning it just to show that I'm thoroughly reading your posts 😘).

Breakfast in the Allure Crown Lounge this morning.

I just wish they would clean these windows.

Still one of the nicest lounges remaining in the fleet.

Was able to get a latte here at 5 am, but then the grounds needed emptied, and couldn’t get a second.

I see they are using rat guards. Does Coco Cay have a problem?

Exactly, I don't watch any regular season hockey it's pretty much meaningless. Just about every team in the league makes the playoffs anyway.

Hockey season starts April 17th.

That was at Port Canaveral.

It was on the end nearest the Carnival ship, so maybe that explains it.
