Royal Caribbean Cruisers -- How Are Things Where You Are? (was "Routine" 😁 day in lockdown... how was yours?)

Recommended Posts

Hi all

Back from our last cruise about 9 days.

But this past Sunday ZZZZZOEY and her parents came to town.
They brought Miss Zoey for us to watch while they go to a conference in Texas. Brandon can only get his continuing education at conferences. There are no books with mail in tests.

So upon arrival Sunday. ZZZZZOEY threw up and had a blow out. Temp 102.5.
Broke with Tylenol and hovered around 99.2

Mom and dad had to go.

Sluggish.

Only eating fruit loops and Lorna dunes. Drink milk and also giving her formula to get nutrients.

Today the  rash

ROSEOLA.

And play time.

And the appetite resumed

Chicken McNugget

pasta

corn

rice

strawberries

Blueberries

She ate very well.

Always something

Time for bath

My prediction for the final episode of Deal or No Deal Island:

The Banker will be Howie Mandel

The final cast member to face the Banker will be offered one or two million dollars instead of playing the game

I thought yesterday's show was a waste of time!  They didn't let us know the results of the challenge.   With 2 eliminations,  they could of at least shown one.

Anyone know what this boat is used for?

It looks like it could be used for dredging.  We see it sometimes near our beach in Naples.

I agree.
Ask me what else mom and dad forgot.

She just started using utensils last week.
Did not have time to get our set.
Amazon delivery Thursday

Yup. They leave.

We have several of those big ice things near me.  We do have fishing here, but some don't seem to be for fishing and rather just to get ice, like you would get a bag in a grocery store.  Some are in front of convenience stores, and some are stand alone with nothing near them.  They are all "Twice The Ice" from Ice House America, so there must be a profit in these things. Pictures from street view on Google Maps:

image.thumb.png.7f7a924858d8c8bdc09b2c8e3921fd43.png

This one is near a marina and is more likely for fishing:

We used to go to an ice machine at night to get 25 lb.? blocks of ice so we could go ice blocking at a particular park with a hill and grass. Once you get a little dew on the grass, you throw a carpet square on top of it and slide down the hill at some speed. We also needed some "borrowed" milk crates to carry the blocks. We only did it a few times, but it was great fun until the rangers arrived one evening. Apparently, it wasn't very good for the grass. ☺️

The ice machine is still there, but I don't if it sells blocks anymore. The blocks were also very good for weekend camping with an ice chest. They melt a lot slower than bagged ice.

Well, I have to say..we have quite a few of those "liberated" crates also!

@Coralc  When I was a kid, we used to use large cardboard to slide down the large hills in my area where I grew up😉  Great fun...luckily none of us got hurt.

Pickle fork was spoken about earlier on this thread.   If that's right that would seem to only be good to get pickle out of jar.   ??

Isn't that why we have fingers?

Looks great!   We had our roof replaced last Spring and it does give you peace of mind knowing all is well, especially after the first rain and confirm no leaks.

We just went through a drive-thru.   When we got to the window Sharon said sorry if I asked to many questions.   He replied,  No problem.   Ask as many as you what..  .... so I asked, How many seconds are in a year?  He was thinking real hard trying to figure it out and then I said ........ 12 ......  There's January 2nd, February 2nd...... He was laughing and asked if I liked any Sundaes.  I answered all Sundays.   He ended up giving me a free hot fudge sundae and said keep the jokes coming!

Beautiful photos Helen of every place! Those deer are really scruffy looking, though. LOL. They might as well be goats at the petting zoo. I still love animal photos. Japan looks absolutely gorgeous everywhere. Thank you for sharing your travels.
