Rare Lionesss Posted May 7 #120953 Share Posted May 7 Hi all Back from our last cruise about 9 days. But this past Sunday ZZZZZOEY and her parents came to town. They brought Miss Zoey for us to watch while they go to a conference in Texas. Brandon can only get his continuing education at conferences. There are no books with mail in tests. So upon arrival Sunday. ZZZZZOEY threw up and had a blow out. Temp 102.5. Broke with Tylenol and hovered around 99.2 Mom and dad had to go. Sluggish. Only eating fruit loops and Lorna dunes. Drink milk and also giving her formula to get nutrients. Today the rash ROSEOLA. And play time. And the appetite resumed Chicken McNugget pasta corn rice strawberries Blueberries She ate very well. We do have fishing here, but some don't seem to be for fishing and rather just to get ice, like you would get a bag in a grocery store. Some are in front of convenience stores, and some are stand alone with nothing near them. They are all "Twice The Ice" from Ice House America, so there must be a profit in these things. Pictures from street view on Google Maps: This one is near a marina and is more likely for fishing: We used to go to an ice machine at night to get 25 lb.? blocks of ice so we could go ice blocking at a particular park with a hill and grass. Once you get a little dew on the grass, you throw a carpet square on top of it and slide down the hill at some speed. We also needed some "borrowed" milk crates to carry the blocks. We only did it a few times, but it was great fun until the rangers arrived one evening. Apparently, it wasn't very good for the grass. ☺️ The ice machine is still there, but I don't if it sells blocks anymore. The blocks were also very good for weekend camping with an ice chest. They melt a lot slower than bagged ice. Edited May 8 by Coralc

Rare Ozark_Kid Posted May 8 #120972 Share Posted May 8 We just went through a drive-thru. When we got to the window Sharon said sorry if I asked to many questions. He replied, No problem. Ask as many as you what.. .... so I asked, How many seconds are in a year? He was thinking real hard trying to figure it out and then I said ........ 12 ...... There's January 2nd, February 2nd...... He was laughing and asked if I liked any Sundaes. I answered all Sundays. He ended up giving me a free hot fudge sundae and said keep the jokes coming! 4
