Same here.  I did not request a refund or cancel an upcoming cruise, yet. Probably all CC members will receive this.  Industry leaders are trying to keep some positive juju going.

nope did not receive this but so tired of " appreciation" in words and nothing in action. As my grandma says, words are like feathers they are quickly taken by the wind.

Cruisecritic sent that email and I am not sure why? This clearly shows how CC is getting some ad revenue from the cruise company. How come CC is not working with these CEOs on getting our refunds?

Written by their Communications Departments (from someone who does this for a living.)

 

They likely saw this for the first time about an hour before it was released (for final approval.)

We (extended family circles & best friends) has 7+ cancelled cruises as a result of C19 and none of them received this form letter directly from the cruiselines (including NCL, Princess & Royal) - I fact checked since I co-managed some of their spam/email filters for cruise-related documents & notifications as the designated planner on some of the bookings.  Mrs. M did not get one on her primary email account either, nor myself - the email address used to push this "letter" can only come from one source as it is on a sub-account of mine.  It is (mass email) from CC.  

 

I don't have a problem with that, the wordings are such that it is co-signed by the CEO of the 3 cruiselines and VP at TripAdvisor & GM for CC.

Justed checked my email...including junk mail ... nothing from NCL.

I never requested a refund or FCC

Boiler Plate letter being sent by just about anyone anything company organization limited liability firm

bemoaning the lack of receiving your APPRECIATED business valuable precious commodity called cash money !

I have got them from my insurance company - credit card company - bank - broker - virtually all the utilities -

satellite - phone company - newspaper - all the TV commercial ads - and internet web sites.

 

ALL WITH THE SAME MESSAGE "WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER" !

 

Why would we want to be all in this together ?

Why not all spaced out apart and staying away from what is making us sick ?

 

I wonder how Covid 20 will be handled when it comes knocking on our door ?
