There was nothing romantic about our cabin flowers. The ship delivered them as a get well soon gift after I was confined to the cabin for 48 hours with an extremely mild case of norovirus.

The 1st photo is from a Portunus Party which was held outside at the Terrace Bar on Oceana (we were in the Caribbean so it was warm enough to be outside). There were more officers and waiters than passengers so we got to socialise with lots of different people and our glasses were constantly being refilled!

He is a very romantic person and I’m very lucky to have him always treats me with a lovely piece of jewellery too on every cruise, it may be diamonds or a lovely watch to match my evening dresses, he is a real gem himself

Always, I'm usually the one tutting at those who dodge the hand gel and washing stations onboard! 😇

 

I only had an upset stomach for a morning but felt that the responsible thing to do was report it to the ship's doctor. I never anticipated being confined to the cabin but it wasn't too bad.

Treasure him, Purdey. Men like that are a rare breed. I was lucky enough to have found one myself over 58  years ago and treasured ever since. He's a real sweetheart, but don't tell him I said so 🤫I have to keep him on his toes😉
