What will happen with the April 4, 2021 sailing of Edge ?

Curious what everyone thinks will happen with this sailing.   We're booked but we have our doubts.

According to Robert Redfield, CDC director, the next three months will be "the most difficult in the public health history of this nation".

 

As a result, option 3 is out.   Could be option 1, depending on the results of the covid vaccinations and whether you are willing to take one.

 

I think at this point, if you dont take the vaccine, your not going on the ship....

The first test cruises will be to private islands.  Then additional short cruises.  After that cruises will be adjusted as to ports that are open.

Who knows?  Too many variables.  All I can say is it is not likely to happen exactly as currently scheduled.  Date, ports or duration likely to change.

We are also booked on this cruise.  We have had 5 cruises cancelled this year and 5 of our booking for 2021 (2 Feb, 2 April -Asia & 1 Oct TA).  We are booked in a Suite and didn’t plan to get off the ship just want to chill on the balcony or the Retreat Sun Deck.  We are making final payment with a FCC and keeping our fingers crossed.

I am supposed to be on this cruise as well.  I am hoping to change it.  Sadly, my booking is through the casino, so that cannot happen.

It will be cancelled and my guess is most cruises will be until June. Vaccine distribution.....

I'm a little more optimistic, my guess is May 2021,

I understand the question but why is it in the form of a poll?  The answer is the fourth choice - Nobody knows.

I had a casino booking on a canceled cruise in November.  Thought I was just "SOL", but the casino dept reached out to me by email and phone to help me rebook.  It was a rebook for April 2021, so I may be in the same place.  You might give them a call.

There with you.   We have a suite booked as well and are fine with it being a cruise to nowhere.    It's the "will it/won't it" limbo that sucks.

We booked through the casino club as well.   I've been told we can still lift and thru Jan 31 or get full FCC if we cancel.

We're also booked on this one and I just can't see that we'll be in a confident enough place to be able to pay our final balance in January, so I suspect we may have to cancel. It is such a shame as we got a great deal and the current pricing strategy means we would get nowhere near the same benefits for the price for any future available cruise with Celebrity. We've loved all our Celebrity cruises, but it looks like it might have to be time to try someone else...

We are on the April 11 sailing of the Edge and we have the same questions.  Will we go or not?

We also have an April cruise. A TA on Reflection. Final payment January. 
I think they will probably be cancelled but not until after that. That seems to be the trend from what other CC members have posted.

I'm booked on the March 21 Edge sailing...I hope it goes, if it does, I'll be on it.

We're booked on the same cruise as well as 4/11/21 sailing on the Edge - making the decision tomorrow as final payment is looming. Leaning towards Lifting & Shifting to 2022.

I watched the webinar about the entertainment and food & dining changes for the Apex.  Since we have been on the Edge and found the Info on the  interesting we decided to Lift & Shift this 4/4 Edge sailing  to the 4/16/22 Apex sailing.

I did not see the webinar what are the changes on food and dining?
