Along with the 5 drinks loaded on your Seapass card and if you're D+ with 340 points or more you can select wine as one of your C&A loyalty rewards

I have well over that amount and received 2 bottles last week. I generally leave them for my cabin attendant.

On post 2 where the D+ offers are posted, the D+ is a 10 dollar discount.  I thought it was free too.  Perhaps just this cruise?

$10 discount is on the second bag of laundry, one is free.

You can not do this online.  You need to call.1-800-526-9723

No idea why RCI took away the ability to do these things yourself on the website. I'm sure the reps have other things to deal with.

Today's e-mail says the benefits are being restored as of Sept. 1.

We called C&A today to check on the D+ benefits and we're getting water and a nice bottle of wine for our trouble.  It's worth a call.

Except that most people won't call and RCI probably likes the status quo when people don't keep changing their choices or don't even know they are supposed get something and get the default - nothing. The on board staff other things to deal with.

I probably need to call and check my choices.

With a lot of solos coming up, I can actually select what 'I' want.

To us the package is totally worth it.  Remember - those 5 vouchers count against a bottle of water, a soda, a coffee - not just a drink.  My husband drinks at least 2 specialty coffees a day, I drink 3 to 4 bottles of water and at least one soda a day.  So buy the time we have drinks, the beverage package totally pays for itself.  The nice thing about the vouchers are that they are not limited to you.  So if we are with someone who doesn't have the package and they want a drink, I can use one of my vouchers to "buy" them a drink and not break any rules about "sharing" my beverage package.  I will give another example - when on Adventure - my husband wanted a drink with a double shot and an espresso.  Waiter said - I will use your drink package for your drink and then use 2 vouchers for your extra shot and your espresso.  So it works great.

I've always been a fan of the drink pkg, just not to have to worry about racking up bills.   My understanding is this is 6 free drinks a day, and they're only used if you ask to use your voucher. (i could be wrong just what i read someplace)   I was thinking about buying the refreshment package instead of the deluxe.....  it would cover water and coffees and juices  and then the vouchers for the times I want alcohol which I doubt would ever be more than six a day for me.

On Adventure this summer, I went hard, day 2 in coco cay I probably hit 12- 13 drinks that day.

I was just so happy to be out of the house and back on vacation.

but after that crazy day, I probably averaged no more than 3 the rest of the week, because that first day reminded me I'm not as young as I used to be.

I'm thinking we may do a refreshment package and vouchers on one cruise we have coming up.

Then do one with just the vouchers.... and then we'll have a better idea of our plan going forward.

My guess is we'll wind up with the pkg again out of simplicity.   But who knows

On the top of Services it says free bag.  Then at the bottom of the list it says $10 off.  So you can do a free bag and then a 2nd discounted bag for each D+.

It's a free bag per D+ member not per cabin....so two of us we get two free wash-n-fold bags which can be used on the same day.

We should cruise at the same time and get to know each other. 😉

6 is for Pinnacles, D+ gets 5, Diamond gets 4

6 is plenty for me. If I need more, I'll pay as I go. But I also get 3 wine gifts, can bring two bottles onboard, and free drinks in casino.

And since we have solo cabins though 2022, that's 10 eligible bottles on a 7 day cruise. 😉

I'm pretty pickled without spending a dime
