Couple of questions for those in the know

1) Can you ask at Guest Services for them to check to see if your flight times haven't changed during the cruise?

 

2) Is there free wifi available at Coco Cay?

The wifi on Coco Cay is the same as the ship.

I am sure guest services can look up flight schedules if you do not have internet service.

You only get wifi on coco cay if you have wifi on the ship.

If your cruise goes to St. Thomas you should have phone and internet on a cell phone while there.     Sames goes for St Croix  as they are US VI

More like $26, the $18/day is if you buy the package for the whole cruise.

I have often helped cruisers without internet do quick tasks on my internet connection.  Sometimes if you ask, you can get.  🙂

What we used to do is find a decent looking bar in port, ask if they had wifi we could use, buy a margarita, use the wifi.  Just about everywhere.

Check your cell phone carrier. Many offer international day passes when on land for reasonable prices.

Also, depending on where you going, you may get cell or WiFi service.  Sometimes you can get free WiFi from a café, bar, or restaurant while in port.  You can check venues in ports where you know you're going to plan ahead.

Thanks for the info.  I figured it would not be free on Coco Cay.  Reason I ask is that I don't want to be surprised coming into port that my flight has been changed/cancelled and now I'm stuck.  Figured I could check at Coco Cay.  Wasn't planning on getting internet on the ship.  If I can do it on the ship at guest services, great.  Peace of mind.

In the Before Times, they had wifi in Labadee.  Are you going to Nassau? Pirate Republic Brewing has wifi.  Also beer.

If you sign up for the Roll Call, maybe someone who has the internet package would be willing to look it up for you. 

I am like Marion_Mom, I will help other cruisers with a quick call or look something up for them.

I don't know how I got it, but up by the straw market, I sat on a bench and had internet.  I didn't sign on to anyone's hotspot.   I just figured that RCI provided it.   🙂

You used to be able to use the computers on the ship to connect to the airline sites for free.  Haven't needed it in forever so I don't know if they even have them anymore.

The only free sites you can connect to without a VOOM package are RCG related sites.
