ms Nieuw Amsterdam in Port Everglades December 18, 2021

Nieuw Amsterdam will be at pier 26 (Starboard to) from 5:45 am - 4 pm.  She is doing a 5-day Bahama cruise.

 

Also in port are Celebrity Reflection at pier 29 (4:30 am - 5:30 pm), Odyssey of the Seas at pier 18 (5:15 am - 5 pm), and Sky Princess at pier 2 (5 am - 4 pm).  Vision of the Seas will be at pier 19 from 7 am - 6 pm and I believe she still does not have passengers aboard.

I'm here, too.  I have my bread in the oven and the meringues are cooled and put away.  I'm supposed to be taking them to my cousin, but will wait, hopefully, until after sailaway...

 

Looks pretty dreary there today.  My PTZ site says it is 26 degrees.  I suppose it knows I am in Canada and use celsius?

I just took a sour cream blueberry cake out of the oven and the house smells wonderful, just as yours will from the freshly baked bread!

Since Celebrity Apex is not docked at Pier 25, maybe that will help Nieuw Amsterdam to sail close to on time.

A little concerning.  Not a puff of smoke from the funnels of Sky Princess and not a peep over the radio from her master.  Wonder if she will be going out late and holding up the whole parade?

People usually know when I've been on a ship because I leave my fingerprints embedded in the door jamb as they forcibly drag me from the cabin.  I feel your pain.
