Sadly Maureen won't be with me on this cruise, however she will be sailing on the Carnival Legend and we both dock in Nassau at the same time. Stay tuned for those adventures with Maureen in Nassau.

 

This cruise I've once again took advantage of the Unlimited Dining package and Deluxe Beverage Package.

Well I guess at the moment I’m not able to use my photo host site so it’s loading directly to CC site.

 

covid test first thing in the AM, fingers crossed for everyone have negative tests on Friday.  Earlier this evening I took a home covid test and tested negative, so I’m not anticipating any issues on Friday.

 

 

Let the new adventures on Anthem begin!

It’s going to take me a bit to get back into doing a “Live” again. Feels like ions ago with that little bug that went around closing things up. I’ve kind of lost track on how many cruises that got canceled and then I had to cancel a couple this past fall. 
 

This will be my first time on a non Oasis class ship since around 2017/2018. 
 

Will I be in culture shock?

 

 

Maybe time to start packing.

Wahoo!! Two more days before we sail. You know what that means though. 
 

It’s covid test day. The big day everyone is on pins and needles. 
 

 Am I negative? The one and only day we wish for lots of covid negatives.

DW and I just got off Anthem a little less than a week ago and i posted a semi-live thread.  it was our second time on her and we again found her to be big, fun and full of energy!  Looking forward to following along on your adventures.

 

The one thing I do remember clearly is how the last couple of days pre-cruise are simply torture!!!!

Pre-cruise day today has started very stressful. 
 

Drove an hour to get my covid test to be told appointments were canceled. But then then nurse had just recently showed up and they will force me back into the system. Patiently waiting now for my results. I’m not leaving here without them.

Can't wait to join you!  Got our negative tests this morning, hopping on a plane to NY tomorrow AM.  First time from Bayonne and first time on Anthem so looking forward to it.  We'll see if I'm in the background of any of your pics!
