Good morning.   Some photos of beautiful Dominica and it’s waterfalls.
which unfortunately will remain mysterious as no matter how I try CC will not load them.

The lap around the block was therapeutic.   Exercise releases all those hormones and things that get the body going and make you feel good.   My instructions for home care are to take 2-3 short walks a day.  It helps to energize you and to prevent the build up of scar tissue.

I was amazed at how easy it was to complete my laps.   I'm stopping at two today and will up it to 3 tomorrow.

Good for you!

Sharon, @Sharon in AZ, thank you for sharing your cruise experience with us. When will Craig be tested again?

He is released on the 8th (I think) and I’m not sure when he gets tested.  It’s kind of all a blur.  I’m supposed to be tested tomorrow but I have a tour so not sure how that will work.  I’m just trying to “take it easy” and “go with the flow”. Everyone has been so nice and accommodating. Checking on me and asking how I’m doing, etc.  It’s not what we planned but things have worked out.

Yesterday we had a discussion of when @richwmn started doing the fleet locations.  I found this thread that he started April 27, 2019.

Nobody volunteered to take on the project and the next day, April 28, 2019 Rich produced his first Daily Fleet Locations:

And the Fleet Report changed to The Daily on March 16, 2020 -

https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2742164-the-daily-for-monday-mar-16-2020-fka-fleet-report/page/2/
Good afternoon, all my CC friends and family!  Glad Debbie is feeling better.   We've been to Dominica, but I think it was Fort-de-France.  Tonight DD has decreed cauliflower steaks on the barbie, and asparagus.  We are going to reduce carbs and animal fats, I think, on this diet - or maybe I should call it a "lifestyle change" as I think it will have to be forever.   We tested ourselves yesterday before going to a neighbour's for drinks, and we were negative.  I think perhaps I should also test myself Monday morning before I head to the hospital for my barium swallow.  I hope they let me in!
Cats are not that huggable;  dogs, on the other hand, are.  As a child I had a duck who liked to be hugged.  I had Donald and Daisy Duck, and it was Donald who laid the eggs and I think it was Donald who liked to be hugged, too.
Kind of dreary here today.  I took an album of stamps to a dealer to sell for me yesterday.  He said they should sell well, so now I am trying to organize 7 more albums to do the same.  Downsizing!  And doing laundry from our few days away.  Of course I left a few things behind in the hotel room.  Ugh.
Prayers for those who need them, and cheers to those celebrating!  Along with everyone else, I'm hoping we hear from Jacqui soon.

Good afternoon everyone!

I just returned from a baby shower for a friend's daughter....a lovely afternoon!

DH and I were in Dominica in January 2017 on the Oosterdam.  We decided to do a ship's excursion to Trafalgar Falls and the Emerald Pool.  On the booking documents it said that it was a "moderate" excursion.  DH has some balance issues and walks with a cane, but can handle moderate.  WELL....it was 133 steps up to the falls, and then about 140 down to the Emerald Pool.  We complained as soon as we got back to the excursion staff - this one should have been marked "strenuous!"

After all that, we had to try the local beer!

Prayers for all in need ( @kazuJacqui, we all miss you and hope you're doing better!), and I'll lift a glass tonight to celebrate with all.

Good morning from our last full day in Yellowstone.
Yesterday was another full day. We spent it at Old Faithful, did the 5+ mile hike around one of the geyser loops, ended the day at Grand Prismatic and then a very late dinner.

We saw more mama and baby bears, and of course had several bison road jams. 🤣  Today I think we’ll be heading to Mammoth Terraces and Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. At least I think that’s what DD would like to do. Since DH and I come every year this trip is for them especially. This is Shep’s second time here and Foster’s third.

Prayers for those who need them and cheers for all on the celebration list.

This chart is a winner!

Old Faithful erupted exactly on time and was a good show.

Sharon, I think all cruise lines have to follow the same protocol as per the CDC.  He will be tested on day 5.  If he is negative, he will be tested again on day 6.  If he is negative, he will be released.

That is what happened to us.

Hopefully that is what will happen with Craig. Praying all will go well.

Thanks for the daily reports, photos, recipes and humour.  The Applesauce cake sounds very tempting.

Our recently adopted cat allowed me to give her a cuddle a little while ago.

Stay safe, take care everyone.

With all the positive cases around I'm trying to be super cautious about myself.  There was a positive test present in our church last week and I do not want to cause a second one so I will worship from home.  I did a test yesterday (negative) and will do one more test next week as well as a PCR test on Wednesday.
