Coral princess in Cairns today

Recommended Posts

She'll be in Cairns while we are there too from next Monday.. Looking forward to seeing her. Dora will be also in for a overnighter in between the two visits from Coral.

Hope you stayed away from any of the 'covid riddled' passengers.

We are staying at the Hilton (very nice hotel) .My 60th and we are spending mum&dads ashes in Port Douglas as they requested.

Who cares about Covid  ,you have to die of something.

Lovely ship ,a lot of older people   but   at  least  they  are  doing it .

If there’s a cruise on coral that suites me I would be on it at a drop of a hat.

Preferably later rather than sooner.   Just mask up and go on cruises.   Who cares which ship as long as it has lots of bells and whistles.

Why don't you just do one of the cruises to try out the ship? Bugger the itinerary. At the moment there isn't much choice of places the ship can go anyway.

She really is a lovely ship. A small ship that feels like a bigger ship is some ways, as it has very good public spaces. We really enjoyed our 7 night cruise on her and are looking forward to a longer, B2B, cruise on her in September.

If that's the one later this year I wouldn't bet on it happening. I'm not sure if PNG will be open to cruise ships by then.

Try one of the cruises out of Sydney.

Too short. IMHO you need a minimum of five days to really get enough time to explore a ship and how the daily routines work, to experience the different types of entertainment, try out different dining venues including a speciality restaurant, and so on.

I have a open mind but I do have a few of the milk runs on Royal this season.

I was thinking about going overseas next year to the U.S. or Europe but I’m thinking about staying closer to home .
‘They say a change of cruise lines are as good as a holiday.

I think it's great fun to try different lines, although you always end up coming back to one favourite. Princess in our case for a number of reasons - AUD onboard costs is a big one for us, so much easier.

When does the first Royal ship arrive. Surely you've got time to do a short cruise on Coral Princess before then?

We'd love to go to Europe again but don't handle the long distance flights very well any more.
