Live from Iona - canaries

Currently sat in the Crows nest getting drinks. 
Still missing suitcases so can’t get ready for dinner and not sure where to go yet. Ship and the room is beautiful

Thank you for reminding us of what Iona looks like!  Over a year since we sailed on her, and only for a week, so memories starting to fade.  Gives us a bit of glimpse at what to expect when we board in two weeks.

I’m just surprised the Christmas decorations are up already.

That all looks absolutely wonderful!  One of my favourite cruises - have a great time. I’ll be amazed if it’s anything less than a fantastic holiday! I bet you’re all really excited.

Balcony are a good size for 2.  Ripples ice cream lovely. Have a great cruise.

Are there many children onboard for this voyage? We were there in Feb post half term with 2 of our granddaughters and there were very few.

Thank you for the lovely pictures, we only got of her yesterday and can't wait until we are back on her. Definitely a beautiful ship, and all dressed up for Christmas.

We were surprised to see them going up 2 weeks ago, disembarked on Saturday.  Have a great cruise, there's so much to enjoy on Iona.

We were on Iona last week as well, previous year same time  and the only decorations were in the shops in 2021 ,but they appeared over night in the first week of the cruise this year was nice to see them all lit up in the atrium

We changed our Iona cruise to Arvia next year as it looked to have even more on offer for little ones (as you know mine is only 2!)

 

Are they showing any kids films in the cinemas? I was thinking it might be a good time for a trial first cinema experience for him, seeing as its free!

Vampiress88, I’m looking forward to reading about your cruise, since we’re doing the same cruise on Iona next spring.  But first, Florida ……. and I think you might be planning for that too 😉.  Lovely photos btw.

Amazing day in Madeira yesterday. 
Just docking in Tenerife so if anyone has any suggestions. We are looking at going to those paddling pools I think, and the market and the city. Not doing any excursions. 
 

some good and mediocre bits with iona but loving the holiday so far.

kids club said 200

 

but they don’t alway have the staff for the kids club so had to turn people away. Only got 24 in per set the other day.
