Just emailed new 2023 coupon book and boy is it disappointing

Let's see if I can link this. 

 

Best one is a 'free' bottle of house wine if you book specialty dining the first night.  The free bear is gone.  Which is ok, because I got 5 of them last time.

Go to the cashier with the coupon and your $20.  They will put it on your casino account and it will appear as free play when you log on at a machine.  My husband used the coupon in October.  I already had free play so they wouldn't let me use it.  He's not a slot player and he ended up winning $250 on one of his first spins.

The free bottle of wine is only if you "actually" have specialty dinner the first night or only need to "make reservation" on the first night, but the reservation can be for any other nights of the cruise?

Nope!  We get our's through our TA.  We see something like "coupon book" on the travel summary and shortly before the cruise we get a link to the actual coupons.  Way back when there used to be some pretty good ones like two for one coffee cards but it's hit and miss these days in terms of usability.

We've been Elite for a few cruises and haven't received the coupon book at all - but I see it's listed as a benefit on our Feb 2024 cruise....  We used to get a paper coupon booklet from our TA years ago and even back them they were pretty much just coasters for your drinks.  At one point they had 2 for 1 coffee cards but I don't think we ever found them of any value.  I just kind of laughed when I saw it on our booking.

My interpretation (which may be wrong) is that one must have a specialty dinner on embarkation night.

I find it interesting that we can all access this "book."  (thru your link above.) On our July cruise we had the same book.  So it looks like all one has to do is print this pdf and one has the coupons.... if one can use any.

No. I usually get the coupon books as a promotional deal through my travel agent.

No,

you do not have to be Elite

it is a perk from some Princess Cruise Vacation Planners (CVP) and travel agents.

My coupon book from a March 22 cruise on the Enchanted had this offer included. There was pretty good value in that particular book.
