What OBC is refundable?

Those types of OBC are *generally* not refundable.

I may get this wrong...if I do I'm sure someone will step in!  OBC provided by a TA is (I think) refundable.  *MAYBE* OBC obtained via part of the cruise fare.  (Not at all sure about that one.)

We have never had any refundable OBC...and never of ANY type left over.  The casino has quite the draw for us!!! 😄

At the end of the cruise, which OBC is refundable?  We have military, stockholder, promotions, and 10% excursions OBC. Or is any?

Stockholder = non-refundable

Excursions OBC = refumdable

promotions (from FCD, booking promotionsw, etc) = non-refundable

military  = I think refundable, but not sure

TA OBC = usually really provided by Princess and, if so, non-refundable

re:shore excursion OBC - upcoming cruise

Total Onboard Credits $100.00 $100.00 $200.00
Shore Excursion Credit* $100.00 $100.00 $200.00

*Please enjoy using these credits onboard as they are not refundable.

Our last Princess cruise was 2010. Military OBC, nonrefundable.  TA OBC, refundable.

Poster was asking about the 10% excursion rebate OBC.

That is refundable.

As indicated in my post, OBC that is part of a booking promotion is non-refundable.

In my personal experience, all OBC is refundable if you make a visit to the Casino. Anything you put on your Casino account can be refunded out with USD cash at the Casino desk. If I don't use all my OBC, I always make a stop at the Casino on the last day.

i guess obc is the least of my worries. went to book and my TA says this

So spoke with Princess about if its possible to only use a portion of the FCC’s for deposit. As the agent was looking into your booking she saw the refundable promotion I had you booked under that is automatically combined with a non refundable deposit promotion

--------------------

i wrote back asking about what is being automatically combined because that seems mighty weird that they force you to make something non refundable when you book under refundable.

Travel Agent Grp Promotion* $25.00 $25.00

$50.00

so thats where the other 25 came from.  and TA did get the 100 deposit out of our larger FCC balances. so he earned his commission with all the princess calls today.

also decided not to go with PLUS so the 350 OBC will def be eaten up with no worries.

MOBC has always been refundable since it began in 2011 & any OBC without the * is refundable.

*Please enjoy using these credits onboard as they are not refundable

I wish people would stop posting about this. If people keep talking and posting about this Princess will find a way to shut it down.
