Edge/ Fine Cut Steakhouse

Has anyone eaten at the Fine Cut Steakhouse on the Edge recently? How were the steaks and meal?

As I recall, I had steak and lobster and everything was overcooked, including the vegetables.

We ate at Fine Cut on the Edge 3 times on an 11-night cruise earlier this year. Everything was Perfect all three times! Steak was excellent, tuna tartare was great, sides and salads were wonderful. Service was superb.

I had lamb chops and they were great❗️

We don’t go to specialty restaurants to get what we can easily cook at home, steak is easy lamb chops not so much.

While good, it was our least favorite of all specialties on Beyond.

We ate there earlier this month.  I had lobster and DH had filet mignon.  It was an excellent meal 🙂

Dined at Fine cut last Thursday night on Edge. Wonderful meal. Our group had Filet Mignon and Ribeye's all were fantastic. Overall a great meal in all respects.

A couple years back we dined in Fine Cut on Edge.  The food was very good.  But they gave us a rail table overlooking the Martini Bar.  It was quite noisy!  I don't know if this has been remedied on Edge, or changed on APEX and BEYOND.  Ask for an inner table.

We had two great dinners on edge's fine cut , a few months ago had a very mediocre dinner on beyond.

Being from NY, this is always a problem. But I will try Fine Cuts on my next sailing on Ascent.

What about the price of the Specialty Restaurants?

Even when they provide a % discount.

 

We were on the Apex and the price of the steak house was $76 w/tip per person.

Anyone know the prices on the Equinox?

We were on the Edge a few weeks ago. Went to Fine Cut twice. We shared the Tomahawk steak both times with a side of lobster and lobster raviloli. Super yum ! 

It was served carved with the bone on the side for show. 

To bad we were not at home so I could gnaw the bone 😁

We had the same experience on Edge.   It was so noisy we couldn't even carry on a conversation.  It was even louder when they did the "Light Show".     It soured us on Fine Cut and never went back.

Went twice on Edge in December. first time was just ok, second time was disappointing. Ribeye was below average.

 

On the other hand, Eden was one of the best restaurants ever experienced, on land or sea!

That's exciting to hear.   I have a couple bookings on our upcoming cruises and trying the New Eden menu

When the bartenders did the "show" at the Martini Bar a lot of people crowded the rail to take pictures and watch.  While we were eating.  All around us.
