Mid morning snack. Funnel cakes and daiquiris. The rain is still gently falling.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but are you completely protected from rain while inside the cabana? If it's raining hard, can it get between the slats of the roof? We're toying with the idea of getting one for our upcoming sailing, and I'd feel better about spending the money if I knew we could use it even if it's raining. Thank you!

Vision of the Seas is beside us. I’ve never seen her before. Her wing bridge is open air. Her maiden sailing was May 1998.

Here is another one that is very nice if you are looking for places to stay for a cruise leaving out of Port Everglades. It's about 3 miles from the port.

Margaritaville is about 9 miles from the port.

Speaking from experience......you won't stay completely dry. We had one last December and it rained hard for a couple hours and got wet,not soaked but wet. Also depends which way the rain is falling as well. Staying in on the couch would be where you would keep the driest. I moved out under the umbrella as I was getting wet sitting in the chair. No photo description available.

This 100%. The room is solid but the sides are vented.

The towel was a good way to reduce the strong wind blowing in.

I have not used busses on Nassau before. Never thought of it. Thanks!

It's been several years ago but we tried them.  We were going to rent a car but there were none left.  They suggested the bus.  We board with 3 locals who knew the driver.  They became our personal guides.   They even asked the bus driver to stop a couple times to have us take pics of certain places.  It was fun and we would do it again.

See, I have always had great interactions with the people of Nassau. That is part of why I always enjoy returning.

Dinner tonight at multiple locations.  First was salads at the WJ.

We are now at Playmakers.

Sounds like a "Progressive Dinner Party" on a Cruise Ship.
