Post cruise survey?

Is HAL still sending out post cruise surveys?  We normally get them the same or next day after we disembark, but nothing yet.

Yes, they are.  our roll call had the same question.  Our survey took a few days from our sailing.  that may be the new way HAL is doing it and honestly, I prefer it since there are many times I am not home the day of or after the cruise.

I was wondering the same thing!  I thought that maybe they are afraid of the scathing revues to come.  I just got off the Eurodam and it smelled like a cesspool in many parts of the ship.  Our cabin was very hot.  After speaking to others on the cruise I found out that there were many  with these issues. The only cold spot on the ship was outside of the dining room on deck two. It was freezing there.

The ship survey is a must-do as a part of the voyage. The crew ( both behind the scenes and directly interacting with passengers) works extremely hard to make our time aboard easy. There are things that are not to my liking but for the most part the experience is positive. Still, there is room for a little improvement and since they care enough to read my feedback, give me a survey and I’ll fill it out.
Since on-line comments don’t necessarily filter back to the ship and the crew members, I try to drop off a written critique before leaving the ship, then again when emailed after I get home.
These are read and acted on, as Mrs.SD was none to happy when we tested + when arrived home and complained up the HAL chain-of-command, customer relations quoted my survey to her as a counter-argument. I get reminded of this every time Mrs.SD sees me writing and wants to edit before I send what I write-up. TMI

Yes the smell on deck 2 and 3 near the bars and restaurants was bad. Our cabin ran cold most of the time which worked in the hot Carribean. There were many other misses from the crew. I was told by officer the largest number of new crew members was in the kitchen and Lido department and they had trouble training and it showed. But we went with such expectations (except the smell) and did enjoy for the most part.

My stepfather and I got off the Zuiderdam on 8/26/23 after 35 days. We enjoyed our cruise, but did not receive a post cruise survey. We asked our travel agent to contact HAL. She said that the Mariner Society had my email address that I had not used for 8

years. After our travel agent gave the Mariner Socirty my correct email address, we

received the surveys. It helps the crew a lot if they get positive reviews.

This past Monday I received a post-cruise survey email for an Alaska cruise on 9/10/23. Except I was not on that cruise. 🙄

Anyone who was actually on that cruise want me to fill out a survey for them? 🤣

I disembarked November 11th and received the post surveys yesterday November 14th. I will state that on the last day of the cruise I received notifications through the Navigator app to be looking for the survey in a few days. It appeared as a notification on my watch.

We got off the Koingsdam on Saturday and we got the survey on Monday.  I couldn't wait to do mine as the secondhand smoke in the Casino was horrible and spilled over to the shops on deck 3. Other than the smoking it was a fantastic cruise.

We got off the Eurodam on Nov 8 and received the survey within 2 or 3 days.  Yesterday we got a follow-up survey asking us to rate the shore excursions we had taken. This is the first time we have received a follow-up and we are four star mariners.

I got another one wanting to know why I cancelled my 2/27/22 Caribbean cruise.  I was never booked on that either!

That is very, very strange.  First you weren't booked, and then to ask someone about their cancellations.  Never seen that before.

I had ignored the email survey on the-cruise-I-never-took until I read this thread, so I clicked on the link to see if it took me to an error page.  This is where I landed:

So I clicked on the link and I found out how much I paid!

I did go ahead and complete the survey on the cruise I did sail on.  It was a series of what-if questions designed to narrow down the importance of different offers and price points based on sailing date.  When you chose an option it opened the sub-question asking whether you would have booked it or not.
