Did a 15-night Hawaii round trip in 2008 from/to San Diego.   Still my favorite cruise!

I retired on a RT cruise to Hawaii with my "official" last day spent sailing in the Pacific Ocean.

* The sail-away out of SF...sailing by Alcatraz, then Angel Island...with views of SF and Sausalito on each side...then sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge, with fog rolling in.......is truly magical. 

 

* Ok, I'm admittedly biased...graduate of Galileo HS, located one block from Fisherman's Wharf...with views of the Ghiradelli chocolate sign visible from my algebra class....love chocolates, hated algebra.

RCI making a change and sticking to it... 😄

Best to just check daily starting  Feb 1st...I will especially here on the west coast late night.

A way to work out the movement of the ships between America and Australia is to look at some of the port bookings. You might get a hint of what ship could go to California.

 

Having a look a Tahiti port bookings and which ship moving through there .

The Question is what happens to Ovation and Quantum?

Ovation will have to have shore power connections installed to sail out of LA for more then 5 cruises.  Navigator had it installed while in dry dock in Portugal prior to coming to LA.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing. Europe 2025 has already been confirmed and does not feature either Quantum or Ovation. The fact that Ovation is doing a Transpacific indicates that she is destined to spend at least the summer on the west coast. We also know Quantum and Anthem are heading for Alaska. 
 

Regarding the winter season, I had heard that Quantum was heading to Sydney and Voyager to Brisbane. It now looks it is Anthem that is heading to Sydney. That probably means that Quantum is heading back to Singapore. Both ships had dry docks since they were pulled out of Asia. Ovation had all the Chinese signage removed, Quantum had not.

Navigator is the only Royal ship that has it currently.

My mistake, it was Spain close to Portugal.  I do not know if the conversion can be done anywhere else.  Whatever ship starts regular service from California will have to have the conversion done.

According to the Royal Caribbean website, Odyssey, Wonder and Icon do as well.
