Never have I ever wanted to buy anything at the art auction.  Nor will I ever.

The only time I stepped foot in the art auction was back when we had no status and poor and they offered free champagne.

Never have I ever booked the Retreat.  Better things to spend my money on (like more cruises!).

Never bought any watches or jewelry in X's overpriced shops. (And I'm old enough to remember when you could sometimes snag a deal on that sort of thing, onboard some cruise lines.)

Confession, I did go to a PW event as I didn’t know what it was about but never did I ever buy anything…

 

Never have I ever eaten breakfast at the spa cafe, something I plan on doing next cruise.

 

Never have I ever attended a Sparkle party (recent post, loud party on deck between 11pm and midnight) I don’t promise to never ever give it a go! Never too old to try new experiences.

Never have I ever been on a Celebrity cruise where the Sky Lounge was monopolized for most of the cruise by Park West.  Ongoing issue on Eclipse and I’m scheduled to sail her soon.  😡

I should quickly note the things that I haven't done on a Celebrity cruise far exceeds the things I have done.

 

That said, here are some of the more conversation-worthy omissions:

 

• I've never been in any specialty dining outlet
• I've never been in any of the MDRs
• I've never done bingo or DOND
• I've never cruised on an E-class or S-class ship
• I've never had a balcony
• I've never been in any Sky Lounge that wasn't attached to a musician Q&A or a concert

Never have I ever been to an Elite breakfast though I’m eligible.

Never have I ever turned down a chance to participate in Silent Disco. 
Never have I ever had a $0 Balance at cruise end. 
Never have I ever not posed for photos; I love to see them!

Never have I ever not tipped extra; staff deserves it. 
Never have I ever not throughly enjoyed the cruise.

Never have I ever booked an inside cabin.  Why be on a cruise ship and wake up with no view of anything?

 Never have I had a drinks package.  
Never have I gone down the slides or been in a hot tub. 
Never have I ceased to be amazed that when I attend the art lectures thanks to an art history course taken over 50 years ago, I know more about the art than 99% of the others in the audience.

Never have I ever NOT tipped for each drink I receive at the bar - I was a bartender and server for years.

Never have I ever NOT told the crew how much I appreciate them!

@chemmo, Things though I miss whilst aboard: Twinings Earl Grey leaf tea, a proper tea with clotted cream and Wilkins jams! I am chuffed that Cafe' al Bacio does have some marvelous sweets, and live music at selected times.

Thank you all! I'm nervous for sure, never been on a cruise alone with my husband. And of course DD has a cough! But the doctor has given her an all clear and we head to Orlando tomorrow so... yeah, looks like this is going to happen! Yes!

 

Am I the only one around here pairing Horror nights with a cruise? Hah!

We are quite spoiled where we live with a range of stately homes and gardens offering beautiful afternoon teas…Are you a Devonshire cream tea eater or a Cornish one?
