Good afternoon, it's raining here again..we sure need it.  Yesterday was a nice, sunny day.  We walked around our zoo for a while, we did see some animals awake and moving about.  Seems they like to sleep a lot!  I'd try the apple crisp, haven't been to the port, thanks for the photos!  Baseball is OK, we've been to a few Brewers games this year.  DH is a big fan.

@JazzyVYour bread looks great!  I'm making discard, sandwich loaves now.  My "artisan" loafs were mostly flops!  I did try your recipe also!

Good morning, it's a cooler but sunny day here.  Had about 1.5 inches of much needed rain yesterday.  Mac and cheese is good, but not sure about squash in it.  Sign language is a good thing. Not sure about dogs and politics??  Not much going on here today.  Did some sewing for church yesterday.  I finished some baby items and started some quilt blocks.

@lindalergood to hear from you, but sad that you are on a not so pleasant journey right now...

Good afternoon, and happy fall.  I could have been car free today as I could walk to church, but it was raining.  It's been raining most of the day, we need it!  I'll take a grilled chicken sandwich.  We had a nice time yesterday.  We watched the giant pumpkin weigh-ins. The winner was over 1900 lbs.  This one was 1400!

Good morning, today may be the last hot day here.  Rain and cooler temps (70's) are in the forecast for tomorrow and then the rest of the week.  Today we're heading about 45 minutes north for a Wine and Harvest fall festival.  Lots of fun stuff to check out there.  The smash burger sounds good, I've saved the recipe.  Tomorrow our handbell choir is playin in church, need to get up early for the early service!

Good morning, it's going to be another warm day here.  I'm waiting  for fall temps!  We did get a bit of very much needed rain during the night.  It will be a quiet day today!  I'll take the fried rice, and every day should be "care for children" day.

Good morning, another cool morning but hot day.  Next week the temps should be a bit lower.  I'd try the mushroom burger, but I think I'd prefer beef!  Kwik Trip has a 50% off coupon for a cheeseburger today...may stop there!  Today is Reading Buddies and then sewing with the 6th graders!  They are all so much fun!

@highscarThanks, I'm hoping the ribbons and elastic were sewed on OK.  She has her 1st class tonight, and the teachers are going to make sure they are all done correctly!  

Good morning, it's going to get up to 90 today.  Was 57 when I got up.  It's hard to know what to do with the thermostat.  We got the ribbons and elastic sewn on the pointe shoes.  She has her first class tonite, so she'll learn how to tie them then.  They look so pretty!  

Not sure about the drink, the meal sounds ok.  I'll take the guacamole!

Happy Saturday!  There is a big football game in Madison today.  The Badgers are playing Alabama.  Our local news station is there broadcasting now.  Looks like a big pre game party is going on!  One of our former high school players is one of the big players on the team!  He's been on the news a few times this week!  Our neighbor is a Pharmacy alumni member.  He said he's the oldest member of the group.  He's in the middle of his chemo treatments, so can't go today.  Today is a "big" class reunion for me, we're going with a friend that I still see often.  We went to grade school together also, and our dads grew up together!  We have a long history.  I don't think I'll know many other classmates there tonite.  

Thanks for all of the caring and sharing.  The port pics look nice.  I think I'm saving the 3rd recipe today, might add some chicken to it.  We still have a few tomatoes turning red, may use them in the recipe.  Thanks @dfish

@bennybearWe have a 2023 Hyundai Tucson Blue.  I had a Toyota Rav 4 that was 15 years old, would have had another one, but when we were looking, there were no Hybrid Rav 4s to be found.  Our neighbor waited over a year to get a Rav 4 that  was promised to him...he never did get it.  

Good afternoon, I have to start by saying heated seats are the best in my new car.  It's a non-plug in hybrid, and we love it!  Took a while to get used to the computer, but it's a great car!  The seats are great in winter, and, they help with achey backs and joints!! 

Our DGD likes to bake.  She's taken several decorating classes, and does a great job!  Haven't been to the port, and I'll take chocolate any day! 

Just got back from the fabric store, making a Football/Packers themed quilt for a young man that was just added to our church homebound list.  Next job is taking my my parent's large collection of Christmas ornaments to a resale shop that supports our church body.  Mom was so happy collecting those ornaments.  We all kept some and put them out at their funeral for everyone to take some.  We still ended up with too many to keep.  We're hoping someone else will get just as much enjoyment from them.

Hello, happy Thursday.  I've had a busy 2 days here.  Yesterday was reading with the little kiddos in the morning, and then sewing with the 6th graders in the afternoon.  They are all so much fun!  I'll take the drink, DSIL, our bartender, makes them with bourbon.  I'm saving the soup recipe, made some with garden tomatoes last week.  They are mostly done now, so I guess it's canned tomatoes next time.  I still have some 1/2 and 1/2 left.

Good afternoon.  It's a quiet day here today.  Exercise class this morning, now working on a loaf of sourdough bread.  Suicide prevention is very important.  I'll take a tv dinner, haven't had one in years. Sis in law likes Stouffers mac and cheese and meatloaf.  A company delivers home made meals to her apartment, but she says they are a bit pricey.  I'm sure home made is better than Stouffers!  

No thanks on the drink and meal.  The port pictures look interesting!

@XBGuyI had and iphone 5 years ago. Then went to samsung because i didn't want to pay for an iphone.  Last year I got an Iphone 13.  The camera quality is so much of an improvement.  My family was all getting better pics from their phones compared to my camera.  I'm glad I got the Iphone, even though it is an older model!

I don't remember which ship, but we were on deck 8 under the area by the pool that is covered and has tables underneath, right out the sliding doors in the back of the ship.  We heard deck chairs moving early in the morning.  Did it ruin our cruise, no.  Now we go for deck 7.  Enjoy your cruise whatever deck you choose.  🙂

Good afternoon, it's a bit warmer here today.  Going up to the low 80's  I'll take it.  Don't want snow!  DH has been cleaning the cars and trimming bushes.  The cars were in bad shape, much better now!  No thanks for the drink, the soup sounds good.  Haven't been to the port, and not sure about the quote.  Just read on FB that the Rotterdam is having some weather issues and was "stuck" because the port was closed...hope it goes well for them.

Good afternoon, the sun is shining and it's 71(21) now.  It was 40(4) when I got up this morning.  DH was sitting at the table with his winter jacket on...I had a bedroom window open and it was in the low 60's(15) in the house.  Supposed to be 80(26) tomorrow.  We had a groundbreaking service at church this morning.  We're adding on a new addition.  DGD had a good time cheering at the 3rd grade football game yesterday!  

Good to hear from Roy, praying all goes well and he gets home safe and sound.

Good afternoon, I've had a busy day today organizing everything for our sewing class with our 6th graders.  We have 9 girls and 2 boys signed up this year!  One of the projects is a hair scrunchie, we'll have to see if the boys want to make that to give to someone, or another project!  We have a neighborhood Piggly Wiggly, interesting history!  Not sure about the meal or the drink, would try the wine.  

Our Green Bay Packers are playing in Brazil tonight, hopefully it goes well for them!

Good afternoon.  It's another pleasant day here.  Cooler, then warmer over the weekend.  Haven't been to the port, thanks for the pictures.  Not sure about the meal, I'm not a big steak lover.  My 1st choice going out would be shrimp.  I don't like to be late, prefer to be 10-15 minutes early.  Today was quilting day at church.  They all go to charity.

Has anyone had the RSV vaccine?  My doctor suggested it.  I'm trying to figure out how to spread out the Covid booster, flu shot and the rsv vaccine.  I'd like the covid booster to be later, closer to our winter cruise.  Today was the first day of Reading Buddies at school, I had one coughing Kiddo today...hoping I stay healthy!
