  1. I don't think the letter has to be dated at least 11 days prior to embarkation but the Positive PCR test definitely must be. DW tested positive exactly 11 day prior to embarkation and had to wait to get the CoR letter until after isolation was completed and no symptoms for at least 2 days. Here are the Celebrity requirements for CoR A Certificate of Recovery must meet the following requirements: Be on official letterhead from a healthcare provider, public health official or telehealth provider showing: The Provider’s name The Provider’s address The Provider’s phone number Confirmation of your recovery and completion of isolation Be typed (not handwritten) and signed by the provider Date of validity must extend throughout the duration of your cruise Include a positive result document for a COVID-19 PCR test taken a minimum of 11 days and a maximum of 90 days before the departure date of your cruise. An antigen test result will not be accepted with a Certificate of Recovery. The test results document from your test provider must include the name of the lab that processed the test, the lab’s CLIA Lab Number or Certification Number, the address of the lab, your name, the date the test was taken, type of test, and your positive result. This can be a printed document, email, or telehealth app notification. Fully handwritten doctor’s notes (such as those written on a prescription pad) will not be accepted. Minimal handwritten components (such as a check mark on a “positive” box) are acceptable as long as the other required information is printed on the document.
  2. I always thought that if you had 2 comp packages you could just setup 2 different accounts selecting a different comp package for each. When I tried that when I tried to setup the second account under my folio number it said I already had an account. I had to get the iLounge to add the second device. In my case the packages were both stream so that worked ok. In your situation where you have one surf and one stream I do think you are going to need to inquire once on board.
  3. Sky Lounge bar will be open for pre-dinner drinks. I'm sure the hours change but I would expect it to be open by 5 pm. We tend to meet up there 5 - 5:30. Rendezvous Lounge is another nice place for pre-dinner drinks as it is adjacent to the dining rooms. We are also on that sailing, hope you are on the roll call.
  4. CwC is issued as a FCC for cruise fare so there would be no FCC for the MoveUp portion. If you test positive you are eligible for a Refund or FCC (your choice). I suspect if you choose FCC the MoveUp would be issued as a refund anyway but speculation on my part.
  5. On recent sailings Coke Zero has been readily available. Diet Coke has occasionally been out in some bars.
  6. I believe if you are not able to travel due to positive covid test within the required testing window the MoveUp is refundable. If you just cancel using CwC prior to 48 hrs I suspect it is non-refundable. The Celebrity policies are completely different for positive test vs CwC.
  7. How did you book? If via a TA or CVP they should be handling including escalation to resolutions or whomever. Otherwise I suspect you need to be making your case through the CelebrityEngagementCenter@celebrity.com to be allowed the workaround to disembark and embark the next day in Victoria if this is acceptable. Keep records of all escalation and when you hit the brick wall you can make one final attempt to her office. If disembarking and embarking the next day is not acceptable then there is no reason to escalate as it is not legal and nobody will approve. 8. Maybe in the terminal with the pier coordinator but probably not. That's why I said the Retreat Concierge in Michaels Club/Retreat Lounge immediately after boarding if you were in a suite already. Otherwise it would be at Guest Relations where I think your chances would be significantly less as there are always people in suites looking to move up as well. On-board upgrade price offered is up to the revenue manager onboard and can be anywhere from complementary (not often) to current retail price (most often).
  9. And this B2B itinerary does violate the PSVA unless the workaround can be negotiated with Celebrity. Of course that may not be possible in the post covid time since they are not allowing any downlining as far as I know.
  10. They accept bids on unavailable categories as there are always people who don't show up for the sailing or cancel last minute for various reasons. Cancellations are a bit higher now due to covid and the airline situations but it's still a crap shoot. If you were to decide to take the Sky Suite and you really wanted the higher level suite I would inform the Retreat Concierge on boarding that you would be interested if one were to become available. Then if one were available they would make you an offer and you could accept/reject.
  11. The Aft Sky Suites are very nice and you get the suite amenities other than the extras of the highest level suite. If you are looking for a suite I would seriously consider this as from the sounds of it your chances of getting one via bidding would be remote even with a strong bid.
  12. You also want to consider the difference in what you paid to the current promo price. Sometimes it's easier and cheaper to just upgrade at the current rate. Bidding really depends on how much value you place on the upgrade.
  13. You are correct that that ship has not been Revolutionized so does not include the sun deck. I wouldn't expect you would get much use of the sun deck on an Alaska itinerary anyway. Those upper forward looking decks are there, they are now just available to everyone and are just open deck with loungers. The Retreat Lounge is still called Michaels Club but that's not an issue as the name change was just marketing, still a private lounge for suite guests.
  14. When you say "up to" is that the maximum bid or the minimum. Remember bids are per person. The RS on S class ships is one of my favorite staterooms and does come with a bunch of extra amenities over the CS like bar setup and unlimited specialty dining.
  15. I know the Infinity repo was priced really nicely when it opened so I assume there is a significant difference in price since Panama Canal usually commands a premium due to the transit cost. We have done 3 full transits of the canal and for many of the reasons stated by others would probably choose the canal itinerary.
  16. The OP and others were also talking about United. Were you by chance talking about Delta who's Amex card is linked to the FF account and you don't need to use that Amex to book flights to still get the free bags?
  17. It's been reported for months that some people booked in deck 6 balcony cabins on "S" class ships have been moved due to quarantine cabin requirements. Could be crew or passenger.
  18. The way I understood it the TA was only given the amount that the passenger would be reimbursed, not the actual refund. In the US I don't know of any cases where payment/reimbursement goes through the TA, its always directly between the passenger and Celebrity.
  19. Recoleta Grand. Here is the email for the front desk who was very responsive to my questions frontdesk@recoletagrand.com. If you decide to book do so on their website as it was much less than the normal hotel booking sites. Any questions about reservations reservas1@recoletagrand.com. Also very responsive (hrs, not days) Make sure to "unlock" special rates as it was a significant reduction. https://www.recoletagrand.com/en
  20. You can refill personal water bottles but are required to use a cup to transfer.
  21. No perks transfer, your new booking is just that a new booking at prevailing rates. They will honor OBC from an onboard booking but it has to be applied manually. Maybe that's what your talking about? Booking perks no.
  22. The forward outdoor pool also has steps. I think 2 or 3 then a turn and another 1 or 2 into the pool.
  23. We use the travel benefits of the Sapphire Reserve and find they more than offset the high yearly fee.
  24. Was going to buy more shares yesterday, glad I didn't down 11.5% today.
