By the looks of the available pictures, the only, somewhat, favourable angle is from the side. The worst angle is from the front. Captain albert sometimes refers to other cruise ships as floating apartment buildings. Well, now HAL has one.

As a "lover" of the S and R class ships I'm having some trouble with the Koningsdam. I certain hope it truly just bad camera angles but then again I look like Brad Pitt if you get the right camera angle. :rolleyes::eek:

I've not paid a lot of attention to the Koningsdam or seen much in the way of photos but yeah, the first thing I thought of when I saw the front view was the newer NCL ships. Not very pretty.

I just find it amazing his fascination and interest in this new ship. :) The constant search for updated photos and information. Good for him. Hope he has some great cruises on her.

Can someone confirm that her width is Old Panamax 32m., like The Vistas And not wider?

 

She is basically about the same size as the Millennium Class of X and Radiance Class on Royal, both which are considered on the small side nowadays in the Supersize Market.

She fits the existing Panama Canal, yes.

 

She looks good to me, better than many newbuilds that's for sure.
