I just walked in the house and looked at the webcam and wondered why all the flashing lights. Then I put on my glasses and saw a plane, which really had me confused. Then I turned on the TV. Interviewing a man on the phone now who just got back from a cruise.

 

CBS reporting at least three dead.

I checked out the location of the camera (top of the Hyatt Regency) relative to the airport and they're pretty close... really a direct line: hotel - pier - airport.

415 viewers on FLL webcam. Most I ever remember seeing.

Shooting at Ft. Lauderdale Airport. Passengers are not being allowed to collect their baggage and exit the airport. I feel for those who have been killed and those stressed at not being to continue with their plans.

I wonder if the N Amsterdam will delay departure at this stage of the game?

 

Everyone held there and airport is closed (understandably).

 

No one is leaving for some time to come.

 

Sadly, they are now reporting 13 injured along with the 5 deceased.

 

So very sad. Talk if this was a shotting to distract and there is another attack so they are definitely holding everyone for a while.

If they are waiting for passengers, the airport is still closed.
