Question...I ahould be able to book this online on the Princess website, correct? And is there a standard time offers become available....ie I am in US Eastern time. Since I am looking at a particular date, ship, and section of rooms I want to book quickly when it becomes available. I have booked online before with other cruise lines but I am new to Princess looking to book Alaska 2018. Thanks!

That's not true. You book w/ the $1 deposit and when it comes time for final payment you can have your FCC applied to get the OBC. I did it last year.

It is not refundable. If you make any changes , the current deposit amount will be required .

 

Basically they will cancel and refare.

Based on this Princess statement not every cabin, cruise nor cruisetour will be available for this promotion. However they're not disclosing which ones & we'll only know for sure by checking for availability on 5/22.

If you go for a reduced fare anytime before final , you will have to pay the new deposit requirement for that fare .

I recently cancelled our $1 deposit Princess cruise from the last $1 promo, and they refunded our $2 through Costco Travel.

I definitely plan to take advantage. Broke right now, but get windfalls twice a year (August and January) to pay them off at that time. I have enough cruises for 2017 but going to book for 2018 and 2019 (they are displaying cruises through May, 2019).

My guess is you are trying to book a cruise under Red, White and Blue sale which has a non-refundable deposit.

I just put a cruise on hold, preferring to use our FCCs, but there was no option on the web site. There used to be.

Hold is good until 5/25. $2 due by May 25.
