The app opens but gets stuck on LET'S GET YOUR DEVICE READY...WIFI (See screenshot).

My phone is LG G5.

Android version 8.0.0 through updates.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times.

I've gone into permissions and notifications on my settings and allowed everything I can find.

I was hoping that once onboard the app would work but it doesn't, and my husband's older Samsung S5 works the app just fine on land, so I know it's supposed to work.

Maybe others here can assist as well.

I contacted them about 6 months ago and they didn't offer a solution. I think they acknowledged that it doesn't work on this phone model. I sent another message today.

It's not a device issue - the app works fine on a G5 in our household. Visit the VOOM desk when you board and they should be able to fix it for you.

One significant difference is that the newer RCI app works pre-cruise and onboard, while the older Royal IQ app only worked onboard..
