It transitioned a couple weeks after Spectrum launched.

Thanks for the update.  So Anthem and Ovation are the only two ships left on IQ?

Yup. Anthem should be on this week and Ovation soon after.

I know Freedom is one of the 'smaller' ships but I wish they would get it moving for all the ships. We are going on Freedom in a couple of months and would love the app features if they worked.

The app opens but gets stuck on LET'S GET YOUR DEVICE READY...WIFI (See screenshot).

My phone is LG G5.

Android version 8.0.0 through updates.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times.

I've gone into permissions and notifications on my settings and allowed everything I can find.

I was hoping that once onboard the app would work but it doesn't, and my husband's older Samsung S5 works the app just fine on land, so I know it's supposed to work.

I contacted them about 6 months ago and they didn't offer a solution. I think they acknowledged that it doesn't work on this phone model. I sent another message today.

It's not a device issue - the app works fine on a G5 in our household. Visit the VOOM desk when you board and they should be able to fix it for you.

I just downloaded the rci app. I had the Royal IQ. I read that the Anthem of the Seas will now be compatible with rci. Can someone tell me the difference between the two apps. I will be sailing on the Anthem.

It doesn’t really matter at this point- just start getting used to the RCI app.

One significant difference is that the newer RCI app works pre-cruise and onboard, while the older Royal IQ app only worked onboard..
