cruiserchuck Posted November 10, 2017 #4 Share Posted November 10, 2017 We went on a 14 night cruise on the Silhouette and did not realize the deserts were free. We thought you had to buy a coffee to get them. Luckily on our next cruise, my brother-in-law discovered that they were free. We now usually go there several times a day. coldweathergirl Posted November 10, 2017 #7 Share Posted November 10, 2017 The chocolate peanut butter cake is my favourite. We often skip dessert in the restaurant and come by cafe al bacio to share a dessert.
Luvcrusn Posted November 10, 2017 #8 Share Posted November 10, 2017 Try the lemon tarts .. yum!! Note to self: add lemon tarts at Café al Bacio to your to do list. Thanks.
helen haywood Posted November 10, 2017 #9 Share Posted November 10, 2017 For some reason the desserts at Cafe al Bacio are often better than the MDR! We often skip dessert in the MDR (heck, we'd like a break before we eat dessert!) and go to Cafe al Bacio later. GordonJasmine Posted November 10, 2017 #11 Share Posted November 10, 2017 We've always thought the free desserts at Cafe el Bachio were better than in the main restaurants - up until this October on the Equinox. It seemed they had cake every day. The Cafe on Eclipse was much better we thought.
Trickydic Posted November 10, 2017 #12 Share Posted November 10, 2017 Another vote for the lemon tarts, yummmmmm. Also they sometimes put out blueberry danish in the morning, totally delicious.

Rare keesar Posted November 11, 2017 #15 Share Posted November 11, 2017 The desserts in the Cafe will generally be the same ones found at the buffet. But we will go there for desserts instead of the desserts offered in Blu.

On days they haven't had them on the OVC, we've often found them at Café al Bacio and are oh so happy!
