Rare Georgia_Peaches Posted February 16, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2018 (edited) Through weeks of trolling the Celebrity boards in anticipation of our upcoming cruise, it has occurred to me that like texting, this discussion board has a special language comprised of abbreviations. I've been lost a few times trying to figure out what certain codes meant...for example, I recently learned that OVC stands for Ocean View Cafe. I thought it might be fun to make a key of essential abbreviations that all Cruise Critic/Celebrity cruisers might need in order to fully understand a discussion post. I'm going to start with the following...please chime in. I know there are many. OVC-Ocean View Cafe OP-Original Poster OBC- On Board Credit TA- Travel Agent or Trans Atlantic Edited February 16, 2018 by Georgia_Peaches add clarification
