Yesterday I was on the treadmill and saw movement outside. Looked up and this guy was walking by. Managed to grab a cell phone shot before he left my field of view. Gorgeous animal!

Since I have no trips to plan, I am finally catching up on my National Geographic pile. I've read the magazine forever and had always been good at keeping up, until last year. So I started diving back in with the June 2020 issue. Working along, now up to September.

There was a great article about snow leopards in the July issue. Such beautiful creatures!

Anybody seen Spins since Saturday?  Hoping she’s still doing okay after getting her 2nd dose of the vaccine.

Hello Stumbles, JP, Mysty and Que thanks for your concern I am here.

Last of the side effects are gone.

Just grieving the loss of our almost 16 year old girl Eloise

Sorry, spins, to hear of your challenging loss.  Last fall, we faced a similar situation with our 14-year-old Yellow Lab, Rudy, pictured below.  It was a situation with cancer in his back leg.  No easy or pleasant options were available.  Now, with the lock-down continuing to be in affect, it leaves such a "large hole" at home and in our hearts in not having our favorite companion around.   Not fun!!  It makes this type of loss even more complicated during this time period.  Right now, Rudy would love to be out in the snow, rolling around, rubbing his head in the white stuff, etc.

Glad that you posted to update.  Hang in!!

THANKS!  Enjoy!  Terry in Ohio

Here is our RUDY that we are missing so much these days.:

Great above wisdom from Tothesunset.  I always treated Rudy well as your prediction in some way will be true in the future.

THANKS!  Enjoy!  Terry in Ohio

If they aren't there, I'm not staying...

Thanks all for the kind words about Miss Lellerweez.

She was one of 3 pups in a litter from Kentucky.

The 3 girls were named Pixie, Trixie and Dixie

All 3 pups were rescued by a shelter in Ann Arbor. We adopted Pixie.

She was never a Pixie but definitely was Eloise from the Plaza. Hence the name

me too

Glad to see you back Spins, distraught you lost a dear one.

I believe with TTS, they wait for us, scouting ahead and waiting

Que

I have a few pets ahead of me. Waiting.

Cats and gerbils and hamsters and dogs and birds.

I loved every one of them with every fiber of my being.

They were all great teachers and I am forever grateful.

I am a much better person for the privilege of knowing them and for their unconditional love.
