I was so excited this morning to go onto NCL and check. Don't know why I got my hopes up lol.

But seriously I really would like this No Tax Promo to show up.

Does anyone know if I would be able to take advantage of the no tax and combine it with my cruise credit I have from a failed cruise in November?

If so I am super excited because our cruise will be almost free!

Yes, one thing has nothing to do with the other.

If their 2019 bookings are at record highs like they want everyone to believe, there would be no incentive to offer the tax free promo for 2019 sailings.

They might offer it on 2020 sailings. Their advance pricing is usually real high, so they could basically offer the tax free promo on select 2020 sailings and still make a killing at those rates.

I can hardly wait. Less than 5 hours to go before up to $4,000 of free offers are scheduled go away.

Eventually they have to surprise us with something new....don't they?

I've been surprised at how long they are doing this 'free air' thing.

Has anyone used a "tax free" promo on Panama Canal cruises?  I'm just curious... seeing as how the port fees / taxes are so high on those cruises.

Based on the previous tax free sales, Panama Canal cruises were excluded.

What we will not be paying in taxes, we will be paying in base fare.

Does everyone think they are not going to increase the cruise fare before the Tax free sale (if there is one this year)?

That is possible.  However, it's also a way to put some under-booked cruises 'on sale'.    It's usually been ran for 'selected sailings'.    They also included the Encore last year to get bookings long before we would know what would be onboard.  (Well, we are still waiting for some of that info!)
