Looking at the AIS system it does look like Coral moving towards Port of Miami at 18 knots.

I'm really sorry to hear of the deaths on the ship.  Hoping and praying that everyone on board can disembark soon (except the sick passengers who will need to be cared for until recovered).

I guess all those countries that wouldn't let passengers from the Coral Princess disembark were right. I hope the people that got off in Buenos Aires didn't make too many other people sick. That being said, I hope everyone still alive on the ship makes it home OK and takes the necessary precautions to not get sick or to not get others sick. 

 

Edited to add: looks like it's going to dock in Miami today, already in US territorial waters which means they must have permission to dock.

Wonder why they chose Miami which is packed with cruise ships where at least the Crew is still on board over a rather empty Port Everglades with the two HAL ships

Coral will dock in the only available spot.  It is inside the channel now at 10:15am..  Welcome back to the US;  and prayers for all who have to get on a airline back to your respective countries.

Port Everglades refused her today so I guess they got permission from Miami.  They have 2 dead on board and about a dozen sick passengers testing positive.  You do what you gotta do!

I was just listening to a passenger being interviewed.  Sick people off first, florida residents next, and then then other "healthy" people sent home.  The people who have tested positive but do not require hospital care will remain on board until they have recovered.

I didn't realize they had deaths on board.
