I am pretty sure he is 80’s something, he is about ten years older than me. My favorite Italian restaurant is closing after 30 years we have one of the last reservations for New Year’s Eve, he always has a five course meal. Been there well over a thousand times , owner now is a good friend.

Last winery tour day on Wednesday, another favorite.   Hostess set us up for light picnic lunch and a bottle of wine on the deck (fortunately nice sunny day) and lit the little gas fire next to us.  Perfectly relaxing wonderful time.  Spent two hours there!!  😮 

 

Packed up and drove to Spokane yesterday morning, found these "Mulies" munching on the fresh winter wheat planted in the massive miles of fields from Chelan on the 3 hour drive to hotel in Spokane.

 

Hotel on the river overnight, nice dinner at restaurant we walked to in the chilly drizzle last night.  Bucky got his Filet Mignon, and decadent chocolate dessert.  (forgot to take pictures..sorry 😞 )...and the restaurant gave him 20% off for Veteran's day discount.  Nice touch.  Very popular restaurant (Clinkerdagger).

Since Toby had her surgery she has been having horrific pain in her legs.She went back to the surgeon.He believes that it is not related to the surgery.She went to an Orthopedic doctor.He took X-rays and could not find anything.Later this afternoon she is having an MRI.

To take her mind off things she went out to lunch with 5 friends to NYC.

It is storming here now .It started about 30 minutes after she left .

Sending prayers 🙏 for Toby to be pain free.

Didn’t realize it was National Happy Hour Day, until Royal sent me an email to remind me.

 

 

Just raked and bagged 3,600 pounds of leaves today.  Balanced chemicals in the spa, and now working on a happy hour drink or two while I jump in and soothe my aching back.  Last nice day for a while.  Snow and/or frozen mix the next 3 days.

We had a bottle of Chianti Classico with lunch, will mix up some dirty martinis for happy hour. We will be about 70 this weekend.

We spent some time in Savannah this April.  Loved a lot of the old historical buildings and parks.
