It’s a full time job sometimes to keep up with this tread and it keeps expanding with new people 😁😁😁

So true! At times I have to catch up on so many posts. I start reading from the newest and then never get to the ones I missed! So if I missed a "like" that's the reason!

Welcome to all the new posters who are chiming in.

I start from the newest too.  Often someone quoting a previous post is my first indication of the original post.

Because I work full-time, I will often do a quick post in my lunch break or when we are on the way somewhere on the weekend,  without having read/liking prior posts.

Welcome to the newbies and please feel free to post or comment anytime.  Pet or grandkids photos especially welcome.

Yesterday was a day trip to Cleveland. Took our daughter and grandkids along.

Started off at.

Volcano nachos are always a good start.

And, Caribbean egg rolls.  Sorry, but one was gone and another half eaten by the time I took the photo.  They were pretty tasty.

Spent the afternoon at the zoo.  That was my first trip to Cleveland’s zoo.  It is a fairly good size zoo, and it wasn’t crowded at all.

A few photos from there.

I am not sure what kind of crocodile this was, but it sure had a narrow snout.

And, of course, I found a songbook in the gift shop, that I wasn’t allowed to buy.

Looks like a great day out.

Cant believe I just looked up the lyrics to the poop song 🤣

Also looked this up -  thin snout crocodile is a Gharial.  Critically endangered from India & Nepal.

I love the things I have to look up from this thread.

I'm the opposite.  I start where I left off at and sometimes respond to a post to then find out others said the same thing I did.

Good afternoon.

55°F and cloudy here.

We have the conifer guys trimming our 15 foot conifers in our back garden.

I hope everyone is well.

Wish the family that lives in the house backing onto ours would do the same. Though we have a West facing garden his conifers  blocks the sun in our garden, plus nothing grows in the soil in the 10 feet of garden nearest the fence as they suck all the moisture out of the soil. Hate Conifers

I’m confused. Why would it be a surprise that you passed your drug test?

That was sarcasm... I'm one of the squarest people you'll ever meet.  I've never once tried so much as a cigarette, let alone weed or any street drug (or prescription drug that wasn't prescribed to me)!

A few quick photos from the 5-2 win last night. Video either later today or tomorrow at some point. Let’s just say Vegas knows how to entertain you, on the ice and during TV time outs.

We convinced him that he didn’t need them. They drive me nuts, but I bet I did things similar when I was his age.

My dad was a lifetime member of the CPGA (Canadian PGA and had reciprocity with USGA/PGA) and as a pro he could get into the Masters, at no charge.  But, even those were very hard to get.  He really wanted to go to the Masters once in his life before he died.  I worked on it but unfortunately, he passed before I could get it done.  However, I did take him to the PGA Hall of Fame in Ste. Augustine (before it moved, if it did, I don't know for sure) a year or two before he passed.  He was so happy that day.  Golf and Golf Courses were a religion to him.  He was very old school and was a club pro when they were well-paid and treated almost like a deity. Didn't believe in shorts and/or Ts on Golf Club grounds.

The WGHOF is still open. Evidently it’s not cut and dried that it will close. Maybe just part will move to Pinehurst.

Originally Owen’s favourite team was the Penguins because of their goalie Marc Andre Fleury.  When Vegas picked him in the expansion draft his loyalties changed. When Vegas traded him year before last to Minnesota Owen remained loyal to Vegas as a Team, and Fleury as a person.

I know a few people here who did the same.  Big fans of the flower and changed loyalty to Vegas when he left the Pens.  I was sorry to see him go.  He’s one of those sports stars that you don’t mind your kids liking and having as a role model.  Definitely can’t say that about a lot of sports figures.

Oh, Bonnie, we're all evening glued to the TV.

DS2 told us yesterday at the seder that they'll travel today to a long awaited by the grandsons trip to a camping site at Kibbutz Dafna (near the Lebanon border).

We said "enjoy". "take care on the roads", and see you on Saturday...

And at 3PM, the biggest amount of rockets since 2006 !!!!! was launched from Lebanon towards the north of Israel. They are safe, for the moment. Sleeping in a tent.....

They'll be cutting short their holiday and leave tomorrow instead of Saturday.

I'm pondering a sleeping pill to get me through the night...............

🙏🙏🙏

We  pick up after our dogs. In the case of a messy poo they say some Dawn dish soap with water and a brush will clean it right up.

Your lucky to have smaller dogs , one of my friends had a 150 pound Italian mastif. He now has a couple of chihuahua’s .

I like large dogs but after having the Cavs we really prefer their size. Especially when they are laying on your lap.

Can you imagine a Mastif doing this? 🤪

We got them in November through ticket master. It’s been basically sold out except for over priced seats on stubhub.

This is a very big game. Owen is set to watch his favourite team.

When we were there Owen met the Kings goalie and right winger.
