DS2 told us yesterday at the seder that they'll travel today to a long awaited by the grandsons trip to a camping site at Kibbutz Dafna (near the Lebanon border).

 

We said "enjoy". "take care on the roads", and see you on Saturday...

 

And at 3PM, the biggest amount of rockets since 2006 !!!!! was launched from Lebanon towards the north of Israel. They are safe, for the moment. Sleeping in a tent.....

 

They'll be cutting short their holiday and leave tomorrow instead of Saturday.

 

I'm pondering a sleeping pill to get me through the night...............

Everytime I hear something on the radio or TV about the conflict I think of you and your family Dani,  and send prayers you are all safe.

Good morning and Blessed Good Friday. 
 

Last evening we went to our Holy Thursday services at our church in Vienna 

 

Before the mass started one of the air force finest did a fly by touch and go at the airbase a mere 1 1/2 miles away. It is a
US Air Reserve C17 Globemaster. ( When your married to an air force brat whose father was an air force academy graduate, who unfortunately died in Libya) You know about anything man made with wings that flies. 
 

Now, just knowing that they are ready to be called to service is reassuring. 
 

Also, our faith service was truly amazing, and rewarding.

I don’t think Caesar’s is a MGM property . The Bellagio is and Andrew may want to check that out . Of course, Google could be wrong.

Correct, however once you get your mlife status via Royal status you can take that to Ceasars and they will natch it.  Most of the bug casinos do this.

We used ours for our room at Bellagio, great perk.  The only drawback is it resets each year so you need to call before you book anything to get the status upgraded again.

Anytime you are in Vegas on a Monday night make sure and go see the best band ever, Santa Fe and Fat City Horns. They play every Monday at the Copa Room at the Bootlegger.

You got it. We flew with them almost 10 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a sunset flight to the canyon and over the strip in the dark on the way back. 
 

Today we are flying to the canyon with a quick stop in the Canyon.

@A&L_Ont I must thank you for that video of the fountains!  Not only of course the water display was amazing…but you introduced me to a Pavarotti song I hadn’t heard before, Rondine al Nido!  I remember the first time I ever heard Pavarotti sing was the Grammy Awards in 1981.  He sang Torna a Surriento and it was the most beautiful thing I’d ever heard.  His voice was unparalleled.  His Italian accent when he announced Willie Nelson as the winner for On The Road Again was hilarious.
