Family Go Boston and RSharpe are doing a live review for your cruise. 😊 There are a lot of live reviews going on this week. Don't worry about it. Pop in when you can! We'd love to hear and see how it is going. 😀 They are doing a live on Quantum, which has already sailed. John and the gang are on Ovation. Yes, there are quite a few reviews going on for different sailings. I have a half dozen tabs open.

Rare h20skibum Posted May 1, 2023 #92230 Share Posted May 1, 2023 Yesterday, I was thinking about giving out the “Worst Nest Builder” award to the crazy robin that decided to build a nest on our front porch light. It looks like someone threw a bale of hay, and whatever stuck became the nest. It is a poor location, because Amazon, or UPS, or FedEx is here at least three times a day to disturb them. But, it must work, because these appeared. Now we will be on a watch to see when they hatch. 20

Due to needing a Rollator they let us board early. We got seated in the 2nd row. Although there were only two empty seats on this flight, one of the empty seats was in our group of 3 seats. It was nice to have a place to stretch our legs out. we chose the second row instead of the first so we could keep our carry-ons with us under the seats in front of us. I am glad we broke it up instead of a long direct flight. Great to see that you made it. Woke up at 3am to a text saying our flight was delayed by an hour and then shortly after that another text delaying us by another 30 minutes. Decided to still head to the airport and see about changing flights as there was one going to HNL via SFO leaving at around our original times...no go. We now have a 1:15 connection time in LAX but we have already cleared customs. Lots of other flights from lax to hnl later in the day in case ours gets delayed again. So much for having time for lunch. See you tomorrow!

molly361 Posted May 1, 2023 #92233 Share Posted May 1, 2023 I've had birds build and/or try to build nests in our garage since we leave our garage door open during the day. One year a snake (Dan HATED them, I'm not a fan either) got to the eggs. Now I try to shoo the birds when I see them 2
MJSailors Posted May 1, 2023 #92234 Share Posted May 1, 2023 @George C The score of that game was very disheartening, for sure. It looked like there was beautiful weather and good seats were a plus. It is still early in the season. Yankees have a number of players on the DL. Things may be on the upswing when players return. MJ🙋🏻♀️

I can see us enjoying hanging out on the cruise together. Earlier I noticed it ask by @h20skibum if any of us will do a live. There is a very very slim chance. With the challenge I am dealing with I know I would not be able to keep it going as I have in the past. If we get one going it will be a group effort starting the 1st cruise day. Some will not have the wifi package but will be able to use cellular around the islands. I think once we get to the at sea days I could start catching up from the solarium. I will let all y'all 😎know what the gang decides. Enjoy your cruise first John. That is your top priority on this cruise. We know you will overcome any challenge. So many people thinking about you and wishing you well, someone up there listens. 13

Problem is, they are quick, and build them in a day. Once the nest is built, I leave them alone. If they tried to build one in the gazebo where out hot tub is (they haven’t tried yet), I would have to get rid of those, no matter when.

Over 100,000 with standing room. That has to be one major traffic jam at the end of a game. That's child's play to us Michiganders. The University of Michigan's football stadium, nicknamed The Big House, has a capacity of 107,601. On game days, anyone who owns property within a mile or two of the stadium makes money selling parking for $20-$50 per vehicle. (Congrats to @ValerieJo on your son's graduation from U of M! I went to nursing school in my 40s, while working full time and also driving my kid to hockey practices and games.... it's SO much harder to do school as an adult!) 3
Rare h20skibum Posted May 1, 2023 #92238 Share Posted May 1, 2023 We went walking at the lake between rainstorms yesterday afternoon. Swimming lessons were in progress It has been five weeks since the storms brought down so many trees at the lake. They have been working every day at cutting them up and hauling, and they still aren’t done. There are some pretty massive piles of logs and brush where they are dumping them.

We must be inhospitable hosts because we have plastic spikes on our light fixture near our front door . It got very messy with bird droppings. How can you follow so many tabs ? I have trouble with 2 . I hope things are improving at home .

grapau27 Posted May 1, 2023 #92241 Share Posted May 1, 2023 Good afternoon. We have just got home from a 3 night cruise on the 2 year old MSC Virtuoso. We used our Princess Elite loyalty in a status match and got their top Diamond loyalty. This got us canapes and prosecco in our cabin. 1 night free speciality restaurant meal for 2. Late checkout of cabin at 09.30am instead of 07.30am for non Diamonds. We sailed to Portland England and Cherbourg France. We had 1 night pre-cruise stay in Southampton and 1 night post-cruise stay in York.

The winds must be blowing correctly today for west bound flights. @Ozark_Kidgot to HNL early too.
