Gate tagged/checked wheelchair and medical dolly with 8 additional carry-ons… Made our 6:30 AM flight on Southwest to Las Vegas via Nashville. Let the trip begin! Desert and mountain views are stunning from the plane. 1 hour ago, CruiszBug said: Yes, I did a more complicated upload and others reported seeing it... but my final attempt was done directly from my phone where the photos are stored, so you should see those? (Hopefully) I couldn't see the pictures in the first two of your posts above (test 1 and 2) but the next 2 worked great. Looks like you have it figured out! 👍 2

Have a great time! You got that right. I brought a mix of clothes, I know what the dress code says but we will se how people actually dress on board.

Keksie Posted May 6 #120857 Share Posted May 6 At Nassau today. 5 ships were here. MSC Seahorse, Carnival Mardi Gras, Carnival Elation and one other ship. We went to Atlantis and had a great time. I would go back for a land trip.

Good, as far as the latest scans for our daughter last week. Not so good, in that our friend, Greg, passed away unexpectedly from complications due to a cardiac event. He was a musician, and played with several bands in his career. Very talented on keyboard, brass and vocals. Susan and I helped out with the funeral dinner. His funeral was unlike any I had ever been to. Many of his band members came and played some of his favorites as a tribute. At the end of the service, a video appeared on the screens of Greg playing and singing an arrangement that was perfect for the end. There wasn’t a dry eye in the place, and I guess he got to play at his own funeral. RIP Greg. You will be missed.

We have a family cruise coming up on Wonder but then probably Oceania next for us to try out the "best food at sea". We'll stay with Royal for multigenerational cruising but want to try other lines as just a couple. Very interested in what Ken thinks (post cruise).
FromSea2ShiningSea Posted May 6 #120871 Share Posted May 6 I am back on CC! Let’s continue and finish my Japan journey. We have pre-cruise tours set up for the next 4 days before we embark Millennium. Day 11- 4/5/2024 Tokyo City Tour- This will be our meeting spot for all pre-cruise tours, at the center lounge of the Hyatt Regency Tokyo where we meet our tour guides. Today’s itinerary- Nezu Shrine, Azalea Festival - “The Nezu Shrine (1705) is one of the oldest and most beautiful Shinto shrines in Tokyo. Every year, from around April 2 until the beginning of May, the shrine holds Tsutsuji Matsuri (Azalea Festival)” Unfortunately, the azaleas are late blooming this year just as cherry blossoms are blooming late because of weather that’s been unusually cold. Tokyo National Museum (1872)- “is the oldest and largest of Japan’s top-level national museums. The Museum features the largest and best collections of art and archeological artifacts of Japan.” We are having a whale of a day Rikugien (1702), “the ‘Six-Poem-Garden”, is considered Tokyo’s most beautiful landscaped garden. The garden reflects 88 scenes from Classical Japanese and Chinese literature.” The view from the Fukiage Chaya( Traditional Tea House) We get to try the Matcha Tea with a little snack Back in town, lots of admirers of the beautiful trees at a shrine in the middle of the city. 25

Stateroom 8083 which is one of a few that can have 2 twin beds as opposed to one king (they don't separate like Royal's so you avoid that hump in the middle. Pretty nice location, nice and close to the aft elevators. https://explorajourneys.com/ca/en/ships/deckplans Ours suite is the entry level stateroom https://explorajourneys.com/ca/en/suites/Ocean-Suites/ocean-terrace-suite Very nice room.
