Meatloaf RIP.

We are really sorry to hear Meatloaf passed away yesterday.

We saw him twice in concert and he was amazing.

Graham.

Oh Graham. I just yelled out Oh no. That’s part of my childhood gone. I never had the opportunity to see him live like you but loved his music.

Beautiful place. Love the sunset drone shots. I like the pic of you with your controller, it's like "don't mess with me when I'm flying."

Good looking lunch Graham. What team is that on your shirt?

Great Britain.

It is a Union Jack logo.

I was sorry to hear this, too. I like his music a lot. Some of his ballard type songs are actually quite beautiful.

I very recently saw a interview with him by Dan Rather , he grew up in Dallas. He was very proud of his acting also was in lots of movies and tv shows .

Also is there an easy anyway to transfer pictures from my phone to my iPad? I much prefer posting from my iPad than my phone. That’s one of the reasons I don’t post to many pictures.

The easiest way, if you have an iPhone, is to airdrop them.  You just have to have both devices open and on the same Wi-Fi.   Depending on the ship, this will work with just the Wi-Fi that the royal app uses.   Another option is to just email the photos to yourself from your phone, then open the email on your iPad.

I am 10 pages behind already.

A little early but this is the menu for Valentine’s dinner at our favorite restaurant , will definitely get a upscale Cabernet with it. Will go the Saturday before since wife  works on Valentine’s Day. Definitely the surf and turf , there crème brûlée is excellent.

The menu looks great.  I'll start with the seared Ahi, and then the lobster bisque.  The Surf 'n' Turf sounds good but I think I'll go with the Filet Oscar (I prefer crab over lobster).  And I have to agree with you on the Creme Brulee for dessert.

I agree, but leave off the mushrooms as well. 😝

I'll eat just about anything on my pizza, except for anchovies.  Anchovies are a hard no.  Mushrooms on the other hand are yummy.  My standard is pepperoni and mushroom.  For those familiar with the Pies and Pints chain of restaurants, I love their steak and mushroom.

I had not heard about Meatloaf.  RIP.  Paradise by the Dashboard Light was one of those favorite bar songs in the 80s where all of the girls would sing one part (stop right there!...) and all of the guys would sing the other part (let me sleep on it...).

Good morning.

It is a frosty 32°F this morning.

I hope everyone has a lovely day.

Graham.

It is 32F here this morning too.  Way to cold, schools are closing.  Yikes we may even get freezing rain or gulp snow!

Nope, onions do not belong on pizza.

Yes, I second that.

You will nix this one, but occasionally I like Hawaiian pizza. Have to be in the mood though.

People on the role call for Allure this Saturday are reporting positive tests today. I feel badly for them.

I would too.  That being said I have a feeling that "some" might not be a hyper sensitive to being carefully all the time, let alone this week leading up to testing.

Have a blast and post some food porn while you are away.  I'm living vicariously through you, as I probably have to cancel the RLS on Oasis next week.  Final is coming and I don't need that much FCC in my future.:classic_sad:

Ellen, how was your cruise?

Really hope you've enjoyed it, and meeting some of the friends here took away a bit from the sadness 😘

It was a bit lonely but nice.  I have to get used to it.  Got to put some faces to names of a couple of cc members.   Met a nice guy who turned Pinnacle on this cruise and he was my happy hour drinking buddy in the Schooner Lounge.  He was also sailing solo (married but sailing without wife)

Another wet week here in Sydney. This week,  we have been warned we can except an increase in funnel web spiders and that they will be more active due to these ongoing wet conditions.  Reminded DH that he needs to shake his sneakers that he keeps outside near the front door before putting them on.   if we see one, the Australian Reptile Park has asked that  a “responsible adult” (not going to be me!) catches them live and takes  them to the Reptile Park for their milking program for anti-venom. The male Sydney Funnel Web is deadly and when my daughter was in hospital a couple of months ago, the guy in the bed next bed had been bitten and he was having a rough time of it. We’ve never found one on our property  but friends who live locally often find them in their pools.

Closing school at 32°F? 😯

Seems so strange doesn't it. Owen just stood outside at -10F for near ten minutes waiting for the bus to get him. He didn't want a ride down in the car.

Yikes. I would not be the responsible adult catching them either.

Yup.  It is the freezing mix potential that did it.  This is Florida.  We don't close schools for covid just for cold.  LOL

I can understand that. I would not want to be responsible for bussing kids when the drivers aren't used to freezing rain.  Even here it can be a school stopper.
