Yes. Do you have specific questions?

several threads on Roatan port of call board.

Did you enjoy it , it’s listed at 5 hours , how far is it from the port ? We been in Roatan a few times in past normally did dolphin encounter.

Thank you, ladies!  Jim and I fly to Arizona next Saturday, on the 16th.  Looking forward to seeing my sister and her family...3 nieces, 2 nephews, everyone's spouse's and my sisters grandchildren who aren't away at College.

Have a great trip!

We went several years ago when it was quite new. There are more recent reviews on Roatan board.

We enjoyed it since it is not far from the port of Coxen Hole. My main complaint at the time was lack of shade and being asked to use loungers in a designated area, assigned to a server. I did end up moving my lounger into the shade and the server still found me!More recent reviews imply the palm trees have grown since and offer more shade.

We only did PAYG, which we prefer. There are multiple sections supposedly for family, AI., and general. There are some water sports for extra. Not sure of snorkeling quality-we didn’t do it.

AI didn’t seem to get great reviews at the time when we went and I wouldn’t consider it a “pampered” type resort.

There is/was no pool.

It is so nice out!  The sun is shining down keeping me warm while a mild breeze is blowing the cool weather almost like a nice ac.

Caden just scored.  Half time.  Not sure of the score but we have scored several, the other team none.

Way to go Caden. 🏆

Have fun and enjoy that nice cool weather.  It's hot and muggy here.

@FromSea2ShiningSea Just wondered if you have overheard anything from the crew where Jewel might be going for the next cruise that starts on the 14th when you get off?

Our itinerary is not looking promising.

Hurricane Lee is moving very slow.   Kinda like Franklin did the other week.

Royal probably hasn't made any decisions since it is nowhere near the area yet.

Hopefully all will be fine and you'll sail to Greenland as planned.

So that ends our sailing down the Prins Christian Sund.  Hope you enjoyed these pictures.  It was so much more breathtaking in person.  You get to take in the whole beauty of it all.  I didn’t want it to end but we had to get inside to thaw out because I was just about frozen.

Cheers!

Your pictures are phenomenal, Helen!  I just showed these pictures to Jim, as I said "see this is what we missed last year"  while we spent the day in the ER in St. John.  He replied, "I knew it was a bad idea to get sick"..lol!  Thank you for sharing these beautiful pictures.  I'm looking forward to your pictures of Halifax, where we spent 3 days in the hospital for Jim's emergency Gallbladder operation.  While we didn't get to see and enjoy Halifax, I must say the people in the hotel where I stayed, and everyone in the hospital, were wonderful to us.  What a friendly place Halifax is, with great people.  Enjoy your day there, Helen and Marty!  I'm guessing tomorrow is Halifax?

Was your DH able to have little mini incisions for his gallbladder surgery?

We fly at least 4 times a year for last several decades have had only 2 canceled both weather events, luckily rarely need to change planes for any of our trips . Always now fly ahead at least one day for all cruises.

I’m a 2 1/2 hour drive from Canaveral, but made it mandatory we drive down the day before and sleep in a hotel.

It’s Spring here so as well  as chasing planes Max had been given a bit of variety by barking at King Parrots, Kookaburras, Eastern Rosellas, Magpies, and other birds.  He leaves the lorikeets and Indian minors alone as they outnumber him…

Tell Max he should be grateful for the beautiful birds! And I’m glad he leaves the lorikeets alone. They are so pretty!

Yesterday was our port in St. John’s Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.  Our tour for the day was Iceberg Quest Ocean Tours.  We started the day with a little rain and then a full range rainbow.

See that little white spot on bottom of the mountain in the mist of the fog?  That’s a couple taking wedding pictures down there.

The waves were something fierce.  It was really difficult to hang onto the railing and camera and try to take a picture at the same time.  I thought I was going to get seasick and/or get thrown off the boat.

This is either a Minkie whale or a Mola whale, I was told by the tour guides.  They are small like dolphins and only come this far up to the surface.  There were no sightings of any whales otherwise.

I’ve been wanting fish and chips. We ate out so many times in Maine I can’t get Dick interested. And he’s half British!

Sitting at the train station right now and a group of lorikeets are flying in and out of the grevillea bush.  They are feeding in pairs and fighting off any newbies that dared to join in to feed off the nectar.  Noisy but colourful and entertaining to watch.  The cockatoos meanwhile are quietly sitting on the fence watching the ruckus.

We traveled to Ohio for a football game today.  Our granddaughter was cheering.  Their team is still undefeated, with today’s score 36-0.

This is the second time they have played teams from Ohio.  I think our kids are spoiled with the fields we have here in Pennsylvania.  Schools here play on artificial turf, and one even recently put in a $1M + video scoreboard.

By comparison, the Ohio fields they played on were in pretty sad shape, and the bleachers, if they had any, had caution tape on them.  I guess it highlights the different ways schools are funded in each state.
