Rare puppycanducruise Posted June 15, 2020 #2 Share Posted June 15, 2020 Good morning.🙂 Thank you for the Daily Report. Love that quote. I looked up your wine suggestion on our LCBO website, and it was not listed.☹️ I'll guess I'll have to drink something else.🥂 The meal suggestion sounds pretty good, we may have that tonight. Hope you have a wonderful day, stay healthy.
Rare kazu Posted June 15, 2020 #3 Share Posted June 15, 2020 Thanks for the Daily, Rich 🙂 Love the Smile Power day. We all need to spread our smiles everyday 😄 Nature Photography - always beautiful. I must look up your recommended wine for the day.
Krazy Kruizers Posted June 15, 2020 #4 Share Posted June 15, 2020 Thank you Rich for the Daily report. I'll have to check to see if any lilies bloomed this morning for a picture. Hard to smile in the doctor's office wearing a mask. I'll skip the meat loaf.

Rare rafinmd Posted June 15, 2020 #9 Share Posted June 15, 2020 Thank you for the report. I hope the Zaandam is able to send some more crew home. We need more smiles and appreciation of nature. Witty sayings may not prove anything but seem to change minds, often to our detriment. I'll pass on the meal suggestion but add one for desert: Lemon Blueberry Cake. Here's the recipe: https://blog.crystalcruises.com/sunday-cooking-with-chef-jon-ashton-blueberry-lemon-cake/ and the cooking demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCsbn3AnAPo&feature=youtu.be Roy

cat shepard Posted June 15, 2020 #11 Share Posted June 15, 2020 Thank you for today’s Daily, Rich! Morning Dailyites & my CC Sisters. It is another spectacular morning here. I really wished I snapped pictures during my kayak cruise yesterday. The water birds were so close! And we do need to smile more & draw smiles on the outsides of our masks! Lots of smiles on this thread, Rich - thank you! @kazu any update on your foot? I will need to go stare into the fridge and freezer for inspiration for tonight’s supper. Stay well everyone.

I did go to my PT for some tips and assistance transitioning out of the boot. She thinks I am making good progress but no one knows if there is union or not until it’s x-rayed. Thanks for asking.
ger_77 Posted June 15, 2020 #13 Share Posted June 15, 2020 Good morning, thanks for the Daily! I believe we can always find something to smile about every day. I like the meal suggestion, and may make some to stick in the freezer, but today is DS's birthday, so we'll be ordering in from wherever he chooses. And wine. Smooth Sailing! DeeniEncinitas Posted June 15, 2020 #18 Share Posted June 15, 2020 Good Morning this AM from San Diego! Well we are in June and along the coast we always say “May grey June gloom”! Woke up to gloom! Hopefully sunny skies late this afternoon. To Rich love Nature photography day AND Smile day!! Voltaire’s quote is perfect! I so enjoyed going to see his tomb at The Pantheon. Great adding wine suggestions to all👍👍 🌺 To my sisters have a great day and be safe!! To all here in The Daily have a good day! Denise😊
Rare Vict0riann Posted June 15, 2020 #19 Share Posted June 15, 2020 It is raining hard here - I don't know when Junuary is going to end! I put away most of my winter clothes a few weeks ago, but now I'm tempted to go and get them out again; maybe that would bring better weather. Good morning all! And thank you, Rich, for the Daily. KK, I agree with you, it's hard to smile behind a mask at the doctor's office. I went early this morning to check my ears, but the doctor thinks it's just TMJ, and I'm grinding my teeth - he says the next step is a visit to the dentist... I'll put that off a bit. Hope your visit goes well.
Himself Posted June 15, 2020 #20 Share Posted June 15, 2020 Rich: You have been most faithful with fleet reports during the "pause" that looks more like a "shutdown." Thank you for your good work.
lindaler Posted June 15, 2020 #21 Share Posted June 15, 2020 I second that statement. Thanks Rich for not only hanging in there in these strange times but improving and upgrading your daily reports.
highland cruiser Posted June 15, 2020 #22 Share Posted June 15, 2020 Thank you for the report. Misty rain here on the Oregon Coast. Doesn't bother the seals though!! Our bay is full of them and at low tide their large population is very evident. But for me it is inside projects. Our dinner will be a grain bowl with avocado and steak. Will cook farrow instead of rice. Add a salad for some greens. Have a wonderful day.
gigianne Posted June 15, 2020 #23 Share Posted June 15, 2020 Thanks for the dailies Rich. Is there a cost to HAL for “parking” in Manila Bay? My camera is always at the ready to get pictures of nature and when I Do it brings a smile to my face.
Sharon in AZ Posted June 15, 2020 #24 Share Posted June 15, 2020 Thank you Rich for the daily report. I love smile day! YAY And I really love meatloaf so the meal suggestion sounds really good but need to cook the steak we didn't have on Friday/Saturday/Sunday. Had a really busy weekend with our granddaughter.... swimming, shopping, cooking. Lots of fun. However our pool felt really cold, but we enjoyed it anyway. I love nature pictures. Love the cardinals gigianne posted. We've had some in our easement area in the spring but I didn't see any this year. Yard guys came Saturday and cut my beautiful bougainvillea blossoms off and into a bush like shape. So no nature pictures of those right now. Next time I say no touch the bougainvillea! Have a great day everyone!
