Once You Finally Get Back Aboard...

I have been known to look longingly down the hallway for our luggage to be arriving, but have many times found it in a pile near the elevators and rolled it to the cabin myself.  😉

I like to get unpacked before I start any serious adult beverages, mostly so I can remember where I put everything.  😄

Been there, done that. Great minds think alike.

What is going to be the first two venues you plan to visit (not counting your stateroom)?

For DW and I, it will probably be the Windjammer followed by the Diamond Lounge (if it is open).

Sorrentos to get on the pizza line and the casino to find out when it opens.

Trying to give a more generic answer, some ships don't have Coastal Kitchen & Park Cafe etc.

But OP asked where you're going on your first cruise. Mine is Allure, so SL/CK may be in play

Our next cruise is a P&O cruise.

Our next RC cruise is on Independence which we know well.

First stop is a coffee and hot chocolate at the DL.

Then off to our cabin at 1pm to see if our luggage has turned up because until it does Pauline won't relax.

If the cases are there we unpack straight away and if not we will pop along to windjammer for lunch.

We’ll do what we always do....tour from top down, in utter amazement. Been on 40 or so cruises....never taken these marvels for granted. I assume it’ll be a little ‘sweeter’ this next time tho.

Now that is what I'm talking about.

First men's room I pass. Hey, it's been either a 2 hour, 15 minute drive to Baltimore or a 4 hour to Bayonne. Priorities.

Then, if Anthem I head to the Solarium Bistro. Usually not crowded. If Baltimore, I always arrive "late," around 1:00 pm. Short check-in lines and the Windjammer starts to clear when cabins open at 1:00 pm.

Sometimes the second stop is a specialty restaurant to book the 2 for 1 D+ reservation for night two.

You can book the dinner reservation at home prior to the cruise you know? You just give them the coupon on the day you dine there and they then give you credit onto your account.

This way you get the exact day and time you want.

First stop will be Coastal Kitchen when on Anthem for a relaxing meal before heading to our room. Hopefully Covid won't have changed this???

Baltimore anywhere I can get a draught Newcastle (SCHOONER BAR-LOL)

On the Anthem our bartender always had 2 pints of Newcastle waiting when we walked to our table...

Hit and miss on each ship Schooner or Pub first places to check out.

First tap on the right.. LOL
