Currently on the Freedom in a GS after my week bid was accepted a few days ago.  Very surprised and very happy.

What were you in originally and what was the bid (if you do not mind me asking).

Our Royal Up offer says "pending" and the other one we put a bid in says "expired"  Our ship sails in 20 days so I am hoping we hear something here soon to give me even more reasons to be excited 🙂

Where do you find the status?

Which ship? That sounds like a good sign to me.

A good sign would be a charge on the credit card used to place the bid - all the rest of the "signs" are wishful thinking.

Biker, who is still looking for confirmation that the denial e-mails are still being sent around 6PM on the day before sailing.

Wondering what ship and sail date too!

I am about 38 days out and can't wait to see if we get royal up..someone in the FB sailing page said she hasn't been moved from the royal loft suite on indy to the odyssey yet and Royal has said all suite guests will be transferred by 7/17 (stinks for her b/c she can't access cruise planner or anything).  So once that happens I am sorta hoping the royal ups will happen too!

AOS departing 7/17 and we received our royal upgrade today.  Noticed that all offers had expired except Junior Suite which still said pending, then a few minutes later the app updated the room number, then I got the email.  I'm not sure at what point my credit card was charged.

That’s interesting. I wonder why they would cancel it. It’s additional cash they otherwise would not be getting.

Discount upgrades were discontinued as part of the crown and anchor program.  The reason given was that they were replaced by the royal up program. I think your travel agent is confused.

Do you remember what the minimum bid for the JS was and how much over you went?  Thanks.

I wish I had screenshot it.  I don't remember, but I know it was a weak bid.  I won it at $260 per person per night.

Sailing on Anthem of the Seas on Wednesday and had an email a couple of days ago to say my bid from a JS to Grand Loft was accepted. Placed what was said to be a weak bid and was pleasantly surprised they said yes. With the refund of the Deluxe drinks package, Unlimited dining and the prepaid gratuities we already bought f you add in the cost of the Voom we will also get as Star class it only cost £50 more than we paid for the JS and we had discount on that price.

Can I ask what you bid please?

Per person? For a 6 night? What an absolute bargain! Enjoy every moment.

Yes it was per person, after the refunds for gratuities, deluxe package and the unlimited dining we had already bought and add in the voom we now get it worked out about £50 more than we paid originally for the JS we were in. It was our 26th wedding anniversary on the day we boarded so decided to try for the RoyalUp and was delighted to get it.

Be careful with royal up they do play with the prices.

Day 1 availability Royal Loft was $1200-$6480

Day 2 availability Royal Loft was $1200-$6700

I wonder if this means that someone bid the max on Day 1, so on Day 2 they raised the max bid? Ughhhh on those prices.

Not sure but my ability to bid has been removed lol. I wasn’t going to bid anyway as I already have the Grand Panoramic. What is crazy is the minimum bid for the owners panoramic started at $300/$600 and the room is almost identical to mine.

Also, all the Star class suites have been gone for months, I got the last one a few months ago.

We got a Royal Up Bid request for our Sept 26th Oasis cruise on Friday and again today.  Minimum bids ranged from $5000. pp (Royal Loft Suite) to $300. pp (1 br Grand Suite).  We are 3 in a Junior Suite and will likely not be bidding.  We like Junior Suites.  But maybe it implies that the ship will sail!
