The weather seems comparable to yesterday or is that my interpretation of you photos from this morning. Plans are for a Perfect Day at CocoCay. It is sunny today with a stiff breeze making the beach lovely. Yesterday, we were on Chill Beach (always wanna be near food and drink). We had two lighting storms where the lifeguards quickly got everyone out of the water, but we stayed on the beach under our umbrella. (Bad press to have passengers on your first cruise electrocuted by lighting). And one big storm where they advised people to take shelter, else get drenched. Always good to have a big ship with weather radar to give you real-time weather updates. And each storm passed in 15 -30 minutes.

EmmasNana Posted June 14, 2021 #480 Share Posted June 14, 2021 What is the Artic Zone I see posted in the Dining area. It says on deck 11 but I don't see it on the deck plans. I don't recall it on any of the ships I have been on.

retiredgram Posted June 14, 2021 #482 Share Posted June 14, 2021 Thanks for taking us along on your adventure. Although we will not be on a cruise until Nov., this has been very stimulating. Brings back all the exciting memories of past cruises. Again, thank you for this informative live review.

No more foot tall ice cream cones. It is located just outside the aft elevator lobby.

I get it. I was making a joke about my grandmother referring to urinating as “making water”.

HotRod3 Posted June 14, 2021 #489 Share Posted June 14, 2021 Earlier I saw a Bar Menu with a list of Beers. I did notice that Michelob Ultra was not listed. Is that just in that bar or is that ship wide?
wolfganghowell Posted June 14, 2021 #490 Share Posted June 14, 2021 Bird, you are my hero. This has been so amazing to see. I'm not crying, YOU'RE crying! 😉 Even seeing a hallway was a beautiful sight. 10

She was only docked in Nassau for a day before our cruise, but I guess the 1000 of us are taking long showers. I think it is so the casino may be opened. Thank you for posting this live view of your cruise. It's a great way to get back to cruising mode.

booplesnoople Posted June 14, 2021 #494 Share Posted June 14, 2021 I'm late to the party, thank you SO much Bird for doing a sail along! We're booked on Mariner in October and seeing a sail along is giving me so much hope it'll all go according to plan.

The cruise compas is not distributed (left in your stateroom). Royal wants you to use the app. They have had copy compasses at guest services for those who are technology challenged. Similar, restaurants and bars are using QR codes for menus. But have hardcopy if you left your ipad at home.

With using the QR codes do you then have to be connected to the ships WiFi & pay for the internet service?

We don't get internet as we like to disconnect and I'm a fan of the paper compasses. It's also fun receiving the compass each evening to see what's on tap for tomorrow. But seems like going forward, will have to carry my phone...esp with covid for ordering, etc.

Restaurant menus, high school graduation programs, recital programs, band concert programs... those are just a few that come to mind from the last week or so. QR code for each of these.
